Seeing as DA2's release is almost here, it seems like a good time to check to see what systems everyone will be playing DA2 on, partly for my own curiosity.

I, personally, will be playing my copy on my Xbox.  I have arthritis (keyboards are bad, ergonomically speaking, for people with arthritis) and have a crappy PC as my reason for using Xbox.  It doesn't hurt that I just recently bought a really nice new TV too :P.

Here is the link, and it should open in a new window social.bioware.com/605282/polls/15861/

Thanks a million guys!  I know I'm excited, and I wish I could play it right when I go to gamestop to get my copy at midnight, but I'll be at work when midnight rolls around so I'll have to pick it up when they open that day at 10am.  Damn night shift :(

My ds of course ;)

No but really. I'm still debating whether to get on console. I played the original on console and never played it on pc.  I played the pc demo and ran alot smoother than on my 360.  But I have my saved game on my 360 so idk! What should I do!:crying:

I'd rather play on a console. Graphics seem fine, and even if they weren't, graphics are pointless past a certain point. All I care about is gameplay and story.

PS3.

PC. I tried the demo on Xbox and hated the interface. I prefer my good old PC.

On the 360 first, then PC later on. I wound up playing DA:O on all three, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same eventually happens with DAII, too.

I plan to get both Origins and DA2 for PC when I replace my computer later this year, but for now...

You're foolish if you have the choice and still pick PC over a console. Bioware hates PC users and doest support their games on PC (further then porting over the console DLC). Played some ME2 almost a year after release and i still couldn't adjust my camera speed, had to go into the config again and change number in note pad, so retarded.

So yea PS3 if I don't see anyone complaining about the frame-rate issues I noticed on the demo.

PC. The rig I put together in anticipation of DA:O is still (without modification) in the "recommended" range, so I'm declaring this a win. I have a PS3, but I prefer PC gaming when possible. No disrespect to consoles: I'm just not very experienced!

lol, I feel the same way when it comes to PC gaming, I am just so uncoordinated when it comes to using a mouse and keyboard.  When my boyfriend watches over my shoulder when I play anything on the computer he makes fun of me, no joke.  But then when I hold a controller in my hands that's when I feel at home, we've always had consoles in my house when I was growing up, so I guess it's only natural for me.
