Yeah well, so far this list is pretty minor compared to Origins' actual buglist.
Of course there may be a lot of bugs that are in the game and aren't in this list, but hopefuly not.
There might be a day-1 patch too.

I like those additions to Nightmare! Additional game mechanics = win, but yeah, that's the kind of stuff that's good to have documented lol. Still it looks like every other Bio release I've seen, they aren't the greatest when it comes to bug free launches.

With regard to the references to pst events, if it's just some gossip talking about it, I'd be okay with that, I think. If it's someone who should clearly know the truth getting it wrong, I have to go with WTF.

That said, it's nice to know there are bugs, and it's nice to know Bioware knows about them, and it's nice to know they aren't completely game breaking.

Doesn't mean they shouldn't be fixed.

Bug: At character select screen, Male Warrior has no sword model.

Expected: Male Warrior has a sword model.

 Won't be picking up my copy till tomorrow afternoon.  Maybe the import issue will be addressed by then.

Possibly, hopefully... please :(

Seriously... not having your origins choices import correctly is the ultimate kick in the quads(to use the Krogan expression). :(

Can remember the days when patches were not available. More care and attention was given to produce a finished product rather than "get it out the door, we'll patch it later". Saying that, it doesn't seem too bad at the moment.

While I agree with the two of you, they are just honest, I went and looked at the readme files for DAO and DAO - A and they didn't have any knows issues section but as we all know they should have had.
Bioware were simply honest with the readme this time, can't see there being a reason to complain, the issues are known and are probably being looked in to, not that Bioware got the best trackrecord when it comes to patches :P

The quest Bottled Scar 5:34 Exalted is bugged. You can repeatedly turn this in for infinite gold and xp.

"Who needs rescuing?" quest is bugged. Bandit Leader appears on Wounded Coast alone and speechless, can't trigger any sort of response from him.

Actually made a seperate post about this, but figured this would be a better place for it.


I
am using Aveline with Ser Wesley's Shield for awhile now and have
finally realized I needed an upgrade from that.  So I bought another
shield and it seems whenever I change shields the armor value from the
original shield isn't taken away on my characters stats.            I
can even boost my armor rating by just unequiping and re-equiping the
shield multiple times.     Example is right now my armor rating is 395
with ser wesley's shield, unequiping it takes it down to 389 and
re-equiping it takes it up to 429. 


Even stranger is when
I switch from The Bann's Backhouse Door shield (72 armor) to Ser
Wesley's Shield (40 armor) my armor rating goes up 2 points.  Then when
I switch back to the Bann's Door it jumps up another 60 or so points. 
Right now I have 871 armor up from 180ish and changing areas or
saving/reloading my game doesn't reset the stat so I'm not sure if it's a
display error or if I actually have that much armor.

bug to exploit and also kind of hard to not take advantage of unless you
don't want to change your shield the entire game.

 I have had a small problem, dont know if its a bug or not. Sometimes while playing, I cant do anything meaning i cant pick up stuff, attack anything basiclly my right click does not work ( though the game runs fine). The only way to fix it is to save and restart the game but the problem comes back again in a few hours. So if anybody has had that issue or knows whats happening it would be great help.

A quick work a round is to simply click on another of your followers and click back to hawk. Works for me.

I don't know if anyone has gotten this bug as of yet, but after deep roads (act 1), I got " Bethany's Grey warden Robes" in my bag. She is suppose to get them after becoming a grey warden and Companion armor isn't suppose to be an item that you can take off or put on, anyone else gotten that bug? She also still wears her gray dress in the companion selection screen where she is, of course blacked out after act 1.

import bug: Nathaniel/or his sister dead even if I save the city and the keep survives with him in it (according to epilogue), really annoying. But this should be a known issue by now. It seems, to make it work, you must bring him along to kill the mother and save the city too. So all your rogue saves are screwed :P

 An interesting bug just happened to me in the DuPais mansion in Act 2.  In the bedroom at the top of the house where you first confront the mage, there is a balcony containing a chest.  The first wave of shades appears on this balcony and when my rogue backstabbed the first one on the left, his sumersault flipped him over the edge of the ballastrade and landed him in a courtyard on the floor below.  I could not work out a way for my character to get back upstairs to rejoin the action - from his perspective I could see the red and blue circles of the enemies and friends above, but could not click on any of the monsters to engage them.  My first plan - to use my duellist's vendetta teleport therefore didn't work.  I ran around below the room for a while, looking up through a kind of invisible ceiling.  There seemed to be no way out of the closed in courtyard, but eventually, by running towards the mansion, my character suddenly reappeared in the bedroom again.  Due to my attention being taken up by my main character's weird trip, by the time I rejoined the battle, two of my comrades were lying unconscious.  Luckily Aveline was still going strong and we were able to handle the remaining shades with the help of Dog.

Obviously my character was not meant to be in the courtyard area - so I guess it is a bug - luckily not a serious one. :happy:
