I will, I think the female Hawke looks fantastic.
How many of you will actually use the default Hawke?

I find that incredibly sad...Maria Caliban wrote...
Given that 80% of ME 2 users picked the default face, I wonder if we'll see that in DA II as well?Felfenix wrote...
Wow, I'm surprised by the results. Pretty even.
The good thing is, they pretty much need a morph system for minor NPCs anyway, so it's not likely they'll remove this feature in future games. Unless somehow they find the ressources to make a custom model for every minor NPC.
Or they could do it like the witcher and have everyone look like a handful of persons, re-using models to the max.

Default for my first playthrough.
Then custom later playthroughs.

Why is it sad?
After months of hearing Hawke's voice associated with The Beard (Duncan who?), I think of Hawke as the default appearance. So I will be playing with that.

Default male Hawke looks to much like a younger version of Duncan

I'm not a fan of the triangle beard. I mean really, when would he have the time to keep it trimmed like that haha.

The default typically has better textures and facial animations from past Bioware games, but the customization options are looking pretty good in this one.

Default for first run, not sure about the rest, I generally prefer default though

Default Female for me.

I love the beard style for default hawk, and as such I am tempted to play default. Sadly Customization is a big part of the game for me, so not likely to happen.
Grrr that beard and hairstyle is gonna make me jealous just like Duncan did with his awesome beard! Curses!!!

I love default FemHawke
But I created my own and I love her too. So for my first playthrough I will use my custom FemHawke. And default FemHawke for my second.

i will not, i ALWAYS make a character to look as close as me as possible, whether playing dragon age, fight night, fifa, oblivion, mass effect. I always make a character to look like i do as i think it helps with immersion pretending i am the character playing the game lol.

First playthrough I will customize my hawke (Warrior), and my second gameplay I'll use the default hawke for mage ( CGI trailer ^^), and then customize my f/hawke as rouge

I'll probably go with the default hawke (once I associate the voice with the face its hard going back), but I'll make a custom female for my second or third playthrough.

Nope. The defaults look great but character customisation is a big part of RPGs for me so I just can't see myself playing default Hawke.

No I need to make my Lady hawke Shextified.

I'll probably use the default faces at least once, but I LOVE being able to customize my own characters! I can easily spend an hour just working on characters alone. ...That and I want a Mike Rowe looking Hawke at least once.

I'm going to do a custom male Hawke.

Not the male Hawke default but when I do decide to make a lady Hawke, I'm definitely using her default.
I don't think theres anything I could do with the CC that would look better than that.

I think i'll be default male hawke but change it up a bit throughout with the mirror
I wish i could be the default without that beard, or without the squared off bits :/

I have never used either of the default Hawkes. Male Hawke bears a disturbing resemblance to Commander Riker and is therefore unuseable in my humble opinion. Lady Hawke is acceptable enough, but I prefer to design my own look for BioWare RPG protagonists.
I have also never used a default appearance for any of my Grey Wardens in DA:O nor have I ever used Sheploo or the FemmeShep "Jane" default in any of the three Mass Effect games. I'm all about customization!
