How would you react if Mass Effect 3 has a ridiculously evil and horrific renegade option which had no justification?

Renegade≠Evil
Not technically, just more ruthless, uncaring and just plain mean.
If you had evil options, I imagine you'd have options to help the Reapers sorta how Saren did.
Still doesn't explain how half of the Renegade options just went into the "Stupid-Evil" territory. You have a Shepard that is a racist, punches everything that moves for the LOLZ or unwanted frustration, and shoves guns into people's faces at the most inappropriate times. If Renegade is supposed to be the "Jack Bauer" way, I feel that BioWare's aim was 90% off. The only time the Renegade options worked within the context of BioWare's goal were the Interrupts in Garrus's recruitment mission, Miranda's loyalty mission, Samara's recruitment mission, and Mordin's, as far as I played the game.
You have a point. Too many of the renegade options are "MUHAHAHA I am EVILz" type things.
Good renegade options are like the choice between saving the council or not at the end of ME1. That presents a real dilemna. While sacrificing the council might be ruthless, certain players will see the advantage or necessity of doing so. Hell, even shooting Fist or Rana Thanoptis makes sense too. One was a criminal that got people killed, the other was doing questionable work for very bad people. Though I didn't kill either one of them in my game, I can see how some would be inclined to do so. On the flipside, I think shooting Shiala after killing the Thorian is just being evil for the lulz.

Well, Cheez, I've never heard a better argument for Renegades being evil.AdmiralCheez wrote...

That'd just be... dare I say it?
Stupid.

Renegade pretty much resembles to me the 12 year old teenage boy viewpoint. Hasn't learned how to play nice for pragmatism's sake yet. Mean and fussy and running on emotion without a lot of forethought. I mean really, how would any person get to be an officer in the marines and then speak to people like a Renegade. Wouldn't happen. Not saving as many colonists as possible? Just plain dumb because you're killing off potential allies or sources of information, plus (as a pro-human rengade) you're certainly not doing whatever you can to make humanity (their colonies) stronger. An officer in the Marines may not have the patience of a diplomat, but they've learned that working together with others is preferrable to going it alone, and they've learned a minimum amount of politics to navigate getting what's needed for their people or advancing in ranks (or both). Shoving a gun in a civies face? Wouldn't happen except maybe in the heat of battle. First thing soldiers learn is weapon discipline. Be constantly rude to your teamates who are there to watch your ass in a fire-fight? Just plain dumb. Good way to promote friendly fire on your ass. Stern sometimes yeah, but rude? No.
Paragon's aren't perfect either. Sometimes they get downright preachy. That can put off others as well if they feel they're constantly being judged. Paragon options for Garrus conversations amount to a bunch of brow-beating and I wonder why Garrus would put up with it at all.
When I play, I usually go for a happy medium, aimed more at Paragon mainly because it focuses on common-sense solutions of team-work and self-discipline and the value of individual life. Sacrifices must be made sometimes, but they're not really sacrifices if the people don't matter to you anyway.
