Thanks for leaving it until 15:18 the day before release to tell me. HMV's customer service is surely the best around. I'm hoping if I get up early enough I'll be able to score me a SE from Game/Gamestation now. I don't want to pay the extra money for the DLC I am entitled to.


Thats infuriating! Same thing happened to me with Batman: Arkham Asylum, I was lucky enough to find the limited edition in the shop though. Hope you find the SE!


Thanks I hope I do too. I don't know if we should be blaming the retailers or Bioware for this to be honest. I mean Bioware have got to have had some idea of how many SEs were ordered right? I love Bioware and I've been a loyal fan ever since my brother first showed me Baldur's gate but recently my love for them has started to fade. It no longer seems to be about the game for them but more about the money as is made evident by all the DLC.


Blame HMV all the way... All EA have to do is deliver the number of SEs that HMV have ordered... If they haven't ordered enough, thats their problem... Got an email myself from Amazon to let me know mine's dispatched last night at 21:30...

 i doubt its a matter of your email not being clear enough, i got that exact generic response, when inquiring about the fadeshear and lion of Orlais.

I'd call them so that you can make it clear in person... and if they still mess you about contact Bioware/EA and they can add the amulet to your lists

Wow, I think just about every UK retailer who offered the SE has had problems of one kind or another.

I got my copy of the SE just now. Only problem is that I'm too busy following the news about the earthquake in Japan (I used to live there, and have a lot of friends over there) to feel like playing it. I'll probably pick it up later today when my classes are over and I feel like relaxing.

Ordered mine from play.com Post came this morning. All I got was the bloody Guide book which I won't even use till I've gone through the game once. This is so frustrating they don't even offer tracking. Last time I order from them.

I think with all the hoohaa over the sword and shield not being offered by 4/5 retailers Bioware have activated them for the SE so when you registered that you got it all and then them you tried the otehr code you got the error message...

I know how you feel, i got the guide yesterday from zavvi... its horrible just sitting there not even being able to read it... --__--

hopefully it will show up for you tomorrow.

I've already had the normal Royal Mail post and the guide came from a curiour called Citipost. They sent it the same day as you aswell. :( Well looks like I'll be getting it on monday then sigh.

The thing is the reason why I use Play.com more than the other retailers is because

A) They never, ever decline my card, while GAME does right before they dispatch every order which is a real pain

B) They used to dispatch games really early and sometimes I got them the day before release. I remember that, back in the day, I got Star Trek: Elite Force II two days before the UK release date. Of course that wouldn't have meant a thing for DA2 because of the online activation, but still, Play.com used to be great for this sort of thing.

I agree they use to be awesome, I remember getting games sometimes two days before release with them. I've recently changed to GAME and I always got my games a day before release, but DA2 has broken their streak.

I don't mind that it came late. My issue is that the guide book has come when it was sent a day after... Now I have to resist the tempation of looking at it.

Mine still hasn't entered any stage remotely resembling a dispatch. Annoyingly, the order page still states that March 10th is the estimated dispatch date. Good luck with that time travel, Amazon!
