yeah im in the same boat as you guys with play.com....posted tuesday admittedly come home everyday like oooo is it here...nothing not even on friday...when its released...like ok, im sure itll come tomorrow bit annoyed but could be worse...still nothing today, no post sunday obv...so monday it is, soon as i get it im letting them know i will no longer be pre-ordering anything from them or buying anything from them in future. unless its a really good deal :P if its cheap i dont care when it arrives.

Well I sent another email to play to get my Amulet of Ashes code they havent sent me. (still havent got the game yet either)

Apparently they have run out? I know a lot people have already received theirs so I know they have had the code at some point... /sigh yet another pain from Play and I thought they couldnt do any worse...

Yep although I preordered it on the 10th October so technically I should be top the list right?

Sounds like they just dished out codes randomly...

I'd drop a line to EA as well maybe they can give you the code quicker

There should be some kind of compensation if you have pre-ordered and not got your game on release day. Like when you order a pizza and don't get it within 30 minutes.

Sounds like play.com have messed up more orders than they've got right with the SE!

Ordered mine 9th Jan, its been processing since mid last week and today I recieve an e-mail telling me its out of stock and can take up to 28 days to re-stock!!
Does anybody know whether Bioware will be sending out anymore SE's to retailers beyond the original batch?
I'll be fairly peed off if I wait another month and the regular edition arrives through my letterbox!

Still waiting on my SE from Play.com. Hoping its here tomorrow. Dispatched tuesday last week, so here'sd hoping. Relying on Royal Mail and An post (live in Dublin). thouroughly hacked off over the whole business and now paranoid that its either gone missing or they've shipped me a standard edition.

Well it arrived finally. It was the SE so im semi-impressed with play  :happy:

Wow what an ordeal, finally over for me at last!  

Im not sure if im excited now or if its relief!  ^_^

Still haven't got my Play.com order- thing is if they tried to deliver it Saturday they would've been out of luck (the workplace is closed weekends).

I really...really hope this hasn't gone missing, I don't want to have to wait 21-28 days before they can give me a refund (And I'd have to break the bad news to my friend who wanted this copy)

Never preordering from them again after this debacle.

Can't believe it will have taken at least a week between the despatch date and arriving. I sent them a slightly snotty email about how if it takes so long for orders to be delivered then they should have despatched sooner and got a generic cut and paste response.

Glad to see I'm not the only one stalking the mailman for a package from Play :lol:

Mine was posted on tuesday as well, so kinda annoyed that it isn't here (Netherlands) yet <_<

Edit: worst of all is that I took today of, so I could have spent my day gaming... :crying:

I bought my signature edition in-store. GAME in Chelmsford only ordered ONE signature edition.

It made me feel like less of a dolt for having waited outside the store for ten minutes waiting for it to open, though. And the thought that my grabbing it probably ruined someone else's day makes me smile.

I think I'll just buy games in town from now on, and if I ever preorder it'll be in a physical shop. For the benefits from the SE, I don't think it's worth it for mainly Sebastian. I'll avoid them in the future

I know the feeling, I'm in Derry and haven't got mine yet either. Was posted first class on Thursday morning so I don't see how it would take 5 days to get here given that other packages have taken less than a day in total.
