I believe they send you an email with the codes once your order ships. But not 100% sure tho.

What it means is basically "Preparing for Shipment."  The amount of time it takes can vary according to what shipping options if you have chosen.

When they say "Your order has shipped" it means they stuck a shipping label on the box and scanned it. It's not actually on the delivery truck, yet.

Ah, that will probably disappoint people who want them there when they start playing.

In my case, it isn't much of an issue, though.  I'm on vacation, and won't be back til later in the day tomorrow.  So if they ship it today and it arrives tomorrow, I will probably install tomorrow night and play on Wednesday.  Hopefully I will get my code by Wednesday.

For DLC included with the game (like the Black Emporium or the Signature Edition stuff where applicable) that makes sense.  But pre-order items won't be in the game package, because that would require the retailer to break the seal and reseal it.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep... mine has said Shipping Soon all day as well. She said it is already on a truck, is being shipped overnight, and will be here tomorrow.

She said I should receive a Shipped email shortly.

I live in Kansas very near to a amazon distribution facility, but I have never done release date shipping before. Does it get delivered to your door, or to your mailbox? I am a bit worried as I work until 10pm tomorrow and there will be nobody else home. They usually deliver to the apartment office in that case, which closes at 6. I guess I can come home on my lunch break to check on that. I really want to play it tomorrow night.

yeah rel ease date shipping and it says shipped but no tracking yet. I wonder whether it will come early or late..... as my mail is often late. gah I hope it's early.
