Really, am i? I will be playing it at medium/low setting because my pc processor suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks but i see many ppl who just go "omg i haz bad pc, go consoles for whooo shiny graphics".
I always liked biowares games for its storytelling and funny options even though they follow the same pattern in every game...
Not that i would care a lot if i could have maximum graphics on if my processor didnt suck but really why such a fansitation with graphics...
Am i the only one who doesn care about graphics??

I like good graphics over bad graphics.
I am always curious as to how much better they can make things look.

If the game has a balance of graphics & gameplay, I can settle with decent graphics, otherwise yes I do care. Though I much rather have really good graphics & gameplay.

It's nice to have good graphics, but in no way necessary for me, and I'll rarely notice it if they're horribly dated.
Heck, of the 50 something games I've got installed right now, some 2/3rds are from the 90s, none of which can even remotely be considered to have good graphics now.

Good graphics are just a nice bonus. I still replay all my old PS1 games. If the game itself is good then I don't really care what it looks like

OP, are you saying you have been cool with an 8-bit game? Come on! Everyone cares about graphics, it is after all a "computer game".
You probably like the graphics that's why you don't have a problem with it. Iike it too, think it looks awesome. Others don't.

I don't mind them and honestly I hope a point is reached where they stop making things look more and more real. Too many damn people have problems seeing reality as it is already. And I played some of the first games and pretty much every game generation. When you've played an Atari or a Sega, well then the stuff running around that many says is bad looks AMAZING. Hell I still have an SNES tucked away and can't bring myself to play it at all. And another thing I find in alot of these newer awesome looking games as some say is you need a Big Screen TV, which puts me off.

Be careful.
THey will get to teh point where it looks better than real life.
ALl day people rather play games than live in the real world.

Ok so you don't like games having good graphics because you have a small (old school?) TV. I see.

I don't give much mind to the graphics, as long as I can play it without throwing my controller at the TV in anger.

It's annoying to see fanboys screaming "OMFG THOSE GRAPHICS SUX0R" at every single game.
I have difficulty to make difference between graphics options sometimes so I don't really see whats the big fuss.

I'm with ya.. graphics are a total secondary to me and don't hamper my gameplay in any way.
I still play space invaders when the mood strikes me... Oh and F-Zero for the SNES, whole family used to have a thing going with that game on the Big Blue map. Tried beating each others scores.

No I live for the story
Well that is unless your talking about 16 bit graphics then meh I might complain.

Graphics are a bonus but when you got a small company like CDP making The Witcher 2 on a budget of what, 7 million? It makes ya go "...Why the hell does a Bioware game look so bad?"

I'm not too fussed about the graphics. I'm more bothered about the actual game content, as in dialogue/interaction, combat etc.

The witcher two focused more on graphics than anything else?

I like pretty graphics in RPGs as long as they are optimized to run smoothly.
