I am having some kind of issue where all the functions that use my EA password will suddenly stop recognizing my password for some reason.  Since I don't share this computer, I have it "remember" my password, and periodically (about once a week), it'll "forget" me and all my attempts to log in will be in vain until I've reset my password.

I'm sorry this report is so vague, but I haven't noticed any combination of circumstances that lead to this happening.

resetting your password should have no effect on this site - next time it happens, can you instead try clearing all site cookies/cache and restarting your browser? It should let you in at that point.

Please post if that helps, as well as any other debugging information you may come up with. Thanks!

Yesterday some auth problem was introduced, i bug reported it. But i dont think they've seen the bug report yet. Massively effects MSIE users. I use firefox and 3.0.15 (latest) and dont seem to have the problem. I think a typo on one of the scripts is doing it.. i see a wierd x character outputted on my MSIE source view when it happens

still working fine for me in IE8.

- is it only after being logged in for some amount of time?

- do you have any addons installed?

- are you browsing in multiple tabs/windows?

- do you have any firewalls/adblockers/strict security permissions set up?

- does this happen on any computer, or just one?

no, but it is now working again, so something you did corrected it.. did you clear your tmp cache of sessions on the server?

no - we haven't changed anything on the server today. If it happens again, please provide the above information with your bug report. Thanks!

Resolved bug, totally forgot I installed Google Chrome Frame Plugin last night... So stupid of me.

I removed their plugin (required a restart argh) and all is working again.

Must be some bug in their header manipulation causign problems

If you have Google Chome Frame FOR MSIE installed, try removing the plugin and see if your problems go away

No

- do you have any addons installed?
No

- are you browsing in multiple tabs/windows?
Yes, A lot of times I will right click - Open in new tab, on several forum post.

- do you have any firewalls/adblockers/strict security permissions set up?
I use Trend Micro internet security and Firewall on my Laptop. bioware.com and social.bioware.com are set up as trusted sites. However my desktop is running AVG virus software.

- does this happen on any computer, or just one?
Both my Laptop and Desktop. I have also noticed that When I start out on my Desktop, I will need to log in a short time after going to this site, then later when I switch to my laptop, I will have to log in again. In both cases it is after I have first been on the site for a few min or so, useually when I try to make a post.
