Seems like Shepard will be getting a new ship... again...
If we have to search for an new crew again, we will get the same game as ME 2? New ship, new crew?
Are there no original ideas anymore?

I'm against rebuilding the Normandy again, but hey, if it looks nice, let 'er rip.
Also, giant flea thing for squadmate and LI.
EDIT: Captain Obvious also pointed out something I wish I'd said myself--logo scheme does not match the established ME style. It should say SR-3, not N-3, and the N7 logo is strictly for special ops units, not ships. This stuff might not be official.

What's wrong with a new Normandy? You'd think it makes sense for Shepard and the crew to upgrade their ship even further before fighting off the deadliest threat the galaxy has known.
well the SR2 was upgraded for the suicide mission... why not keep upgrading? the ship seems pretty large and easy to retrofit, i think if in ME3 we kept upgrading with some visual changes would be pretty cool

This is just fan art and not concept art.
So the real Normandy 3 concept art looks different, eh?

1. Cost. The SR-2 took a billion credits to make; this is prohibitively expensive, even by Cerberus standards, as we see through various conversation with Miranda and Jacob throughout the game.
2. Time: It takes a long time to build a hyper-advanced warship. The SR-2 took at least two years to build, and given how close the Reapers are to Earth, we don't have that kind of time.
3. Shipyards; Shepard doesn't have access to one. The Alliance thinks you're a traitor, the Council thinks you're an idiot, and if you blew up the Collector base, Cerberus is pissed at you. Who, exactly, is going to build you a new Normandy?
4. The SR-2 is currently the most advanced, powerful warship in the galaxy thanks to the upgrades you did in ME2. And along those same lines, the SR-2 is YOUR ship now. You spent the entirety of ME2 making it yours, why in the world would you abandon it now?
Still, nice pictures though. dude has talent what drew 'em.

They usually do this once a new game is close to launch. DA2 is less than 24 hours away.Gentleman Moogle wrote...

These images, while well done, are fakes. He doesn't work for BioWare in any capacity and these are NOT really ME3 concept art. They are just fan art trying to pass themselves off as teh real thing.
Sorry.
How do we know you're telling the truth? You could just be telling us this.
