It could just be upgrades. Maybe the new game will start with it you have just been upgrading. Far to soon to tell. Relax

It was right there in the link... He says that it isn't concept art from Bioware right from the start...

I'm not sure I believe that I just read through three pages of comments before someone noticed that the guy said it was an art school project right up front. He's not a perpetrator or trying to put one over on anybody. He even apologizes ahead of time to anyone who might get annoyed over the misconception. LOL

I hope he got an A, because aside from nomenclature mistakes it is really good (and honestly, people on this forum are probably the only people who notice those).

I think they impounded the SR2 and started making some modifications. What those are we shall see...Though I think it's safe to say they'll put a coat of paint over all the Cerberus Emblems. I wonder if Joker gets to keep his leather seats?

A dreadnought would be silly for Shep. The Normandy has stealth systems which makes it good for slipping in, dropping off Shepard and the strike team, then fetching them out when things start turning REALLY ugly. You couldn't sneak up on anyone in a dreadnought.

Plus, I just really like the look/feel of the Normandy and wouldn't trade it for any other ship, though I might add more living quarters (like there IS more space than is explorable in ME2. like just from the shape of model vs. the floorplan, etc...

I might like to see the squadmates add more personalization to their area (well, some of them did it nicely like Mordin, Jack, Kasumi, but I'd like to see more of it)

No, according to GI, we are not getting a new Normandy. We are getting a re-badged Normandy SR2. Re-badged as in, same ride, new licence plates. Pretty much like it would be if say, Honda took somebody's Acura and stuck an "H" over the "A" before giving it back.

I love EDI , more casue Tricia Helfer is the voice actrice .
So that one should be imported into my Dreadnought .

So what is the difference in putting it into a dreadnought class :lol: just more expensive and more work .

But yeah back to serious notion , would like more crew areas or more locations inside the Normandy .

The Normandy SR-2 seems to be upgraded with some new rooms in ME3, according to GI.

By looking at the small piece of concept art that they showed in the article...it seems more will be changed than simply a repaint. Looks like we'll be getting a somewhat similar interior to the SR1 with the dark, Alliance lightining and such.

I like my normandies new. That said.. we will get this: Normandy SR-2 with a repaint job, no Cerberus logo (probably Alliance) & some new rooms which will probably replace some of the old stuff.

Makes you wonder if the useless restrooms on the Normandy 2 were just placeholders.

Not a fullly new ship, but for all intensive game purposes it is a new Normandy, its bigger and desinged to accomdate a new squad and new things. It will 100% still have EDI im sure because its built from the SR2 (basically making it the SR2 and a half, but I bet they call it the SR3) and EDI cant be rmeoved from it from what I gathered from our conversations in ME2. Im excited about this, it wouldnt feel like Mass Effect 3 if he had the 100% exact same Normandy as the last game.
