Okay I will apologize ahead of time if this has been answered. I've tried searching but haven't come up with anything.
I have an ATI 4830 video card.... Which means obviously it can do Dx10, but not Dx11....
On the demo, I saw options for Dx9 and Dx11, but not Dx10...
I'm a little confused on that... With the card I have, do I just select Dx11 on the retail game, and get Dx10 effects without whatever adancements Dx11 has? Or am I stuck playing the game in Dx9, even though I'm 10-capable?
I'm confused about the Directx options..

Yes you just select DX 11 if available.

Yes dx 11 is backwards compatible with 10, so you will get all the available dx 10 features but all the bells and whistles of dx 11 won't work without a dx 11 card.

As long as you have Vista (updated to service pack 2) or Windows 7 - there's no DX10 or 11 in XP.

Thanks, I've got Windows 7, and I'll eventually get a Dx11 card... there's no rush for me, my 4830 is suiting me fine.
