Hope Cat Lance and the rest of the people I know who are there (talk about a catch all lol) do well, by the sounds of it Cat has saved the day for team USA once already. I'm not watching the live stream cause I don't want any spoilers... it doesn't seem like a very cleaver idea for an event to my mind... maybe a few weeks after the game had come out... oh well. :shades:

Team USA?

Well, USA were coming last in the first stage, however during the elimation round Catlance did fantastically well and kept the team in the running.

We are coming up on a second elimation soon, but it's hard to tell which of the four teams will have to go through it.

Aside from that - the stream has been quite an eye-opener. Lots of new cutscenes and party dialogue, but obviously lots of spoilers too. Sometimes it's a bit hard to follow, what with swapping between teams - but it's been great to watch so far.

Oh man, that was kinda intense even from my chair in Canada. Though I can't, in good conscience, rally under the USA banner, I do support the individuals it was comprised of. You ladies did great!

As much as I loved to see Poland emerge from the challange am I very sorry to hear USA is out...girls where good! It seems incredibly hard and the teams do seem like the elite of gamers

From the looks of it they have little time to actually enjoy the story, it is race and constant battle reloads

That seems to be the case. i think I even saw one team just skipping through the cutscenes so they could get to the fight quicker.

They have 24h to beat as much of a 80-120h game, so...yeah, not much time for cuddling and talking with companions, they are just meatshields

Ha!  But still - during one of the scenes when the group was running through town, Morrigan and Alistair were throwing witty comments at one another, and the person playing just cut them off to talk to an NPC.

I wanted to hear the banter
