It was a joy to watch and much more awesome than I imagined possible.

Agreed, I didn't think I will enjoy the event so immensely, maybe because of the community members I "know", and the fact that Hungary was involved until the very end.
I learnt that the Hungarian team is comprised of journalists, and were invited as such, so they will only spend the money, they won on charity.
