I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I was looking at my "registered game content" and noticed a new piece of equipment that wasn't there before. Listed for Dragon Age 2 was "Blood Dragon Armor". I thought that was pretty cool, but hadn't heard it would be available in 2. Anyone else have that on theirs?
Ok folks now as for the Blood Dragon Armor for those of you that weren't a part the the chat with Laidlaw on Sat he did in fact mention that they were adding the Blood Dragon Armor to DA2. I was one of the ones that was a part of that group. You will not get it at the start of the game but will get it shortly after your in the game.
Also we all remember the camp for which we had in DAO. Well now there is no camp. They've done us better this time. We have our own home for the most part.<G> There will be a chest in there that will have the Blood Dragon Armor in it as well as other things like the staff etc.
HOpe that this helps you out and I didn't spoil anything for anyone.

Got it too, I wonder what will it look like in DA2. Have they updated the looks?
It's in the video that was livestreamed on Saturday, apparently the shoulders are different though I can't remember what it was like in Origins exactly.
It's dwarven armor looks.

They
said they updated the shoulder pads, but aside from that, it looked the
same, which might be a bad thing, depending on who you ask.
Well, I'd say that is a bit of a bad thing. Mostly because the pink lights in the helmet and the fact that it won't have the same detailed looks as the DA2 armors will have. But that is alright, atleast I can toggle helmets on and off in this game. And I guess I can just deal with it.
I kinda wish they would have just used the ME2 versio of it:

If you have the Blood Dragon Armor listed on your account (either from DAO or ME2, on any platform), you'll automatically get the DA2 version. Thank you for sticking with us!

yay i haz it, excitedmore game developers should do stuff like this
Agreed. I actualy pefere gear/weapon addons over small adventure ones (well ofcourse if you get both, that is always a better choice). I like the fact that the gear usualy stays with you the entire duration of the game. Like those Mass Effect 2 addon weapons, they were awesome and useful too. And I loved that armor they gave you, fully customizable! Oh yeah!

Do you need to have DAO registered to get it, or can it just be connected to your BSN account? I have DAO for PS3, but tossed the case so I can't register the game here.
Go to "My profile > Your Registered Gaming Promotions", you can see it from there.

How do armor requirements work in DAII? Is it the same as Origins with everything just mostly having a strength requirement?

I'll be missing out on it because my Blood dragon armor is linked to my older inactive account and EA won't let me transfer it[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]
If you have ME2 for XBox 360 I have a spare Blood Dragon Armor code I should give you.
