 Hola.

Attempting to install Black Emporium right now, and it's giving me the following error:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.  Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate, x64, and have tried running it in XP compatibility mode as well as with administrative rights.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

-Scott

This looks like a corrupted download, I'm investigating with our content provider to see what's going on.

Aha, derp, it only download a 1k file. That would explain it.

That file should be larger than 1k :) The link should go to a redirector that sends you to the real file on our content provider. This file should be around 18 meg in size.

Glad to know you got it working. Could you please elaborate a bit on what was happening and why you were only getting the 1k file instead of the full download?

I was right-clicking and saving the link as opposed to clicking and letting it redirect.

Of course, this was before the redirect worked, apparently. Haha.

Check out the thread titled "Cannot install Black emporium and high res pack ." I think it may be the same issue and there is a workaround.

I am trying to install DA2_BlackEmporium.exe and it returns back with the following error under Win7 x64 "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher." Well... there's only one file to DL from your site and that's what I'm doing. I hope someone has a suggestion...
