If I recalled (and this was a while ago), you're suppose to import your ORIGINAL DA:O save, then, the one from DA:A, and then, the DLCs you have.

...pretty sure a dev mentioned this a while back.

What really? that wouldn't make much sense because everything should have been transfered from Origins --> Awakenings --> DLC (ala witch hunt).

Or at least I hope it's not that way, I only have my witch hunt save because I accidently lost my origins and awakenings ones.

If you order directly from EA, not a third-party, there's a chance of getting your copy early (I'm in the States), because they ship in advance to meet the release.

I got Dead Space 2 several days before the release, and I'll actually be somewhat surprised if I don't get DA2 today.

Yeah, I'm going to be annoyed if I have to choose multiple saves, as I only saved the last one (Witch Hunt save) from a chain.

3-4 more days for me too sadly with being in the UK. Hopefully the post'll get my copy to me for Thursday, as they normally do. Ordered from shopto due to it being slightly cheaper.

Edit: OP or anyone else, if possible and it's not too much trouble, I'd appreciate an update on how good the choice and consequences are after you've played a bit more. I.e. you can make a different choice and the game'll change because of it. Of course, no need for spoilers. Just a general 'yeah it's great', or 'it sucks'.

SPOILER The beginning is the same as demo. You started off with the "legendary" version of Hawke and then you can access the character creation. PS. the presets are not the same as the ones in Demo version (personally, I think it's better). The scenes are the same as demo but some dialogues might change.

Ok, so I cannot clarify on this matter because apparently, I saved over the safe I have in Origins. I only have my Awakening one and however I try it, it still says, Dragon age: Origins was not completed. I hope it's just a bug or something... Don't panic though, may be I'm doing something wrong...

Fellow Dutchie here, when i asked my local retailer what day i should swing by, he told me the game will be released 10 march here.

Have it pre-ordered throught steam (Dutch too btw) so im hoping they srew up in favor of me getting it earlier then the 10th  but unlikly. Man still 3 days to wait, im realy losing my mind as every game i play right now just bores me because it AINT Dragon Age 2 <_<:innocent:

Could you please, please tell us about attributes point when leveling up? do we still get an extra 3 point at level 5, 10, 15 etc or was that removed from the final build and we only ever get 3 per level.
