Ok, so I cannot clarify on this matter because apparently, I saved over the safe I have in Origins. I only have my Awakening one and however I try it, it still says, Dragon age: Origins was not completed. I hope it's just a bug or something... Don't panic though, may be I'm doing something wrong... 

Does it still let you play with that import, or does it make you choose a default scenario?  Also, have tried to continue playing and see if there are any references?

It does let me get into the game and it further says any missing data will be filled by Bioware's "given" background. I'm currently working on a project so I just played for 3 hours and so far the only references I found was when Aveline says something like "After King Cailan died, a new king is now in the throne" The name Alistair was not mention though, so I don't know if that proves the validity of my save.

If I recalled (and this was a while ago), you're suppose to import your ORIGINAL DA:O save, then, the one from DA:A, and then, the DLCs you have.

What really? that wouldn't make much sense because everything should have been transfered from Origins --> Awakenings --> DLC (ala witch hunt).

Or at least I hope it's not that way, I only have my witch hunt save because I accidently lost my origins and awakenings ones.

I hope it's that way... otherwise people who do ' the ultimate sacrifice ' are royally screwed. You can't import your character into Awakening and maintain proper continuity if you do that,  apparently.

Might me able to still use only 1 save if you've played all the way through with your original Warden though...

Carver and Bethany is different from the Demo version (if you've downloaded the mod) you'll see Carver's hair longer here and Bethany, well, less pretty

probably because you used a preset that gave you the second set of looks for your family.

Apearance of Carver, Bethany and Leandra(Mother) are determined by the pre-set used i heard, after testing with the demo i found that the 9th (Last) pre-set gives the standard hawke family looks, hopefuly there is still a pre-set that does that while still allowing you to customize your hawke.

I found often in the demo that both Carver and Bethany changed drasticly while the mother doesnt. Didnt like half of those changes as much as their original model.

Here's to hoping the changes are more subtle in retail :S

This time round I choose the last preset group and Carver is hotter!! Hahahah And apparently, if you choose a dark skin your family will all be around the same skin tone which makes sense to me



BTW I found a save where I accidentally seperated from others which is from the very beginning of awakening and apparently...



It works... which is weird to me. While the finished awakening ones didn't passed... Ah, well... guess I'll have to play awakening again??

I think it's very different from the Demo version. I know, I've tried every presets through the demo too and I must say I was disappointed with the system. However, the family changes accordingly to many of other choices as well now. Not just the preset, as you can see.

looking at the presets i think i used one similar to the 3rd one as my pre-set in the demo, but cahnged the skintone alot (pale white) and then added bethany's hair style to my Hawkette (it just looks good for a red head)

You should probably post your import problem in the appropriate tech forum.
I know that DAO had a actual epilogue save, and awakenings did a final auto save, but I don't think Witch's Hunt did.

The only way I kept track was to make sure when I went to awakenings or witch hunt, was to check my codex, and make sure that my save had the choices I wanted.

Still worth mentioning to devs I think.

I PMed Mr. Priestly and he said any save will work (my question was regarding Witch Hunt save). Just even if you missed one option that can import, it will say it was unfinished. Meaning you didn't finish every last detail quest of the previous games.

That's the jist that I got from it anyway.
