Quick question.  When Witch Hunt first came out, it wasn't producing a save file AFTER the final conversation (on any platform).  This was fixed in a patch.  From DA Wiki:

-------------------------------------------
It was intended that a savegame file be created at the end of Witch Hunt for export into Dragon Age II. Unfortunately the export file is not being created in the initially released version of the game. Bioware has acknowledged this bug and fixed in version 1.1. Players who finished the v1.0 simply have to replay the final conversation.
-----------------------------------------

However, the PS3 version (for me at least) still doesn't seem to do it.  I know I have the latest patch installed, but is it worth it to uninstall everything and try to patch it again?  Is it possible that the WH 1.1 is in the DA 1.06 patch, and WH doesn't get patched if you install it after DA gets patched?  Somethong like that?

The question I really need answered, I guess, is:
Has anyone ever recieved their Witch Hunt post-credits game save on PS3?
If it is possible, I'm going to try re-installing everything tonight to try and produce one for DA:2 tomorrow. But if it's impossible no matter what, I won't bother.

Figured it out. If anyone else has a similar question, the answer is yes, there is a Witch Hunt "post-desicion making time" auto save to be had. However, if you installed Witch Hunt after patching DA:O to 1.06, Witch Hunt isn't patched, and there's nothing to trigger PSN into patching it.

Again: Any DLC you install AFTER patching DA:O to 1.06 doesn't get patched. So, if you're having trouble do the following...

-go to the game utility folder, uninstall DA:O (it only deletes the install data, not your game saves)
-without firing up the game, reinstall all the DLC you want to reinstall (I recommend not installing Warden's Keep if you're already done with DA:O and have moved on to Awakenings/Golems/WH). Reinstall the DLC from the PlayStation Store if that's where you bought it, or off the Ultimate disc if that's what you have.
-fire up the game. It will prompt you to DL and install the 1.06 patch, and because you have the DLC installed, it gets patched, too.

Big thanks to Degeling in this post for pointing this out!

I can't believe that after all this time, I finally have a proper, final save file that includes all the choices I want to make. One day before DA2 comes out, too. Ha. Now to just sit back, finish the last few chapters of The Calling, and wait for DA2 Sig edition to show up tomorrow. BioWare, I can't believe you made it harder to fully enjoy your game than to beat the Harvester on nightmare, but I have full faith (for some reason) you'll do better with DA2.

What's the name of that autosave? The only autosave I have is The Nest, but it showed it saving after I made the choice, but that might explain why it didn't show anything about Witch Hunt when I imported into DA2...

Edited to add: Loading that save loads me right to credits..

Did a fresh run through with an imported straight from DAO epilogue Warden and still no mention in DA2 summary. It did reflect the promise and the child and all that, though.
