I'm getting error, when i try to log into ea account, i'm getting pop up error massage, it says,

"There is no disk in the drive - Please insert a disk into drive /Device\\ Harddisk/ DR2"

"There is no disk in the drive - Please insert a disk into drive /Device\\ Harddisk/ DR3"

"There is no disk in the drive - Please insert a disk into drive /Device\\ Harddisk/ DR4"

"There is no disk in the drive - Please insert a disk into drive /Device\\ Harddisk/ DR5"

Then i clicked Try Again, I got another pop up. It says

" You have lost your connection to the Dragon Age Servers, You will be unable to access online feutures of the title until you connect again"

Note: Game is working fine but i can't able to donwload DLC and Whenever i start game i am getting this error and i can't log in to ea account in ingame!

And My copy is Digtal Copy from EA! 

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?

The "/Defice\\ Harddisk/ DR..." message is from a bug that was found in the demo, and is related to certain card readers (SD, compact flash, etc). If you can, try disabling them temporarily.

The issues with downloading DLC from our website should be resolved now, and there is another thread going on about it.

I have the same issue but I'm using the CD to install.

I have the D2D version of Dragon Age 2 (should be no disk at all required). I get this error:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \\Device\\Harddisk1\\DR1."

What do I disable? I don't think I even have a card reader. Any advice for a computer-novice?

I'm also getting this error. The game is unplayable because of it. We need a real fix, here.

getting that annoying error too cant log in because of it i dont even have a drive A and yet its telling me *The drive is not ready; its door may be open. Please check drive A: and make sure that a disk is inserted and the drive door is closed.* ...... a fix on this asap would be great

They are not related to card readers, I have the same issue and I do not own any card readers.

I get that same message everytime it tries to contact/sign-in to my Bioware account.
I can bypass it by ctrl+alt+del to first  see the error message (at first only thing you get is a bing sound win 7), then I just click cancel and the game is back on and it is logged into my account.

But this is a silly bug that was known  in the demo, so please get on it and fix this annoyance.

Just to add my voice I am getting this problem as well.  If I hit continue 3x it will let me past it, but I also am not able to see any of my DLC despite having gone and redeemed my codes on this site.

I also am using the EA D2D version.

I have DA2 on Steam and also have this problem, just to add another downloading platform to the mix.

Also have this issue:

Only happens upon trying to connect to EA servers.

"there is no disk in drive A:\\" Ignore retry or continue.

Luckily hitting continue works sort of...

Freezes up the game but if I minimize the game then bring it back up we're good.

Very annoying.

Same issue here, CD install. It was working for me early yesterday (3/8) after first install, this started in the afternoon. Server authentication issue?

Getting the same error. No card readers. I can play though, I just click on the "continue" option and there appears to be an "ignore" option as well.

Same problem. Did not have this problem yesterday--am experiencing it every time I start DA2 today.

1. Removable Drive
2. Hard Disk
3. CD Drive
so I canged it to:
1. Hard Disk
2. CD Drive
3. Removable Drive
After that, I didnt have any more problems.

How do you do that on Windows 7?

It is done via your system bios. Has nothing to do with Windows.

Typically hitting delete during system bootup. Please dont tinker with things you're unsure of. You can break your computer in that screen.

Great job!  This worked for me (and sped up my windows startup).   Just gotta remember to change it back if you ever need to use boot disks or something...  Thank you ASUS for having very easy-to-work-with bios'.

Same problem. I disabled my card readear in the Device Manager, and work fine.
