Everyone saying dxdiag displays more RAM than their GPU should - it's because dxdiag includes shared system memory (as in, some of the RAM normally being used by your computer is used by your graphics card instead).

If you are on Windows 7, and want to know how much RAM your GPU actually has, right click your desktop, click Screen Resolution, then click "Advanced Settings" it will bring up a dialogue box - the "Dedicated Video Memory" value is the real amount of RAM your GPU has.

I have the bare minimum for this.

How much should it affect performance?

Hmm, according to that screen I have 1792 MB dedicated video memory. I have the Geforce GTX 260, is that possible? Does this mean i wont have any problems running the highres pack?

I didn't pay 500 dollars outright for my card. There is a company that allows you to pay 50 dollars a month via paypal for 12 months. But when you make your first payment of 50 dollars they send the card of your choice to your house within 3 days by UPS. They are only company I am aware that does this, that's how I got mine.

Yes, that's possible - there were both 1792MB and 968MB versions of the GTX 260 :)

And while the GTX 260 unfortunately does not support DX11, it should be able to handle the high-res texutures just fine.

dxdiag reports the Direct X version on your machine, not what your card can actually use ;)
dxdiag is a great tool... for confusing people.

The GTX 260 is a DX10 card (click the Specifications tab).

3.5k mb shared system memory
