What's the deal with The Antivan Garrote? I've made two purchases recently but received no promo codes for this item in either case. I bought 1600 BioWare Points and I also bought The Arrival DLC for ME2. No code received. How do you obtain this bonus item?

In case you hadn't got the answer, points and DLC is not the 'Bioware Store.' The store is where they sell the T-shirts, posters and other non game extras.

Hi,

I created a Bioware account a few days ago, and after I activated my DLC From Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, I noticed that I also had some DLC unlocked from Dragon Age II (Of Things Not Lost, The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall, Lotherings Lament, and the Blood Dragon Armor), for all platforms.

I understand why I received the Blood Dragon Armor, but why were these other Dragon Age II DLC's unlocked before I was a fan of the Dragon Age Facebook page and right after I registered my account and reedeemed a code instead? Is it a bug or a glitch of some sort, or is this normal?

I am a fan now, though, but I just thought it was strange.

i have the staff of parthalon in my content and when i start dragon age 2 on my xbox it says i have it in the unlocked items list but it is nowhere in the game items chests or anything does anyone have a solution or the same problem

This merchandising of Dragon Age is a total abomination.

Or you know, you could just buy a couple coasters or a letter opener for $15 bucks, which is the actual requirement.  That or go buy a DA2 edition mouse or keyboard from Razer, as they're offering the same item.  Cost you more with that route though. More money for a game that's been paid for? Why all the preorder bonuses can't be given to everyone since it's mostly on the game disc. If you use the vaddin mod on PC you can actually "/console vaddin Amulet of Ashes" and the loot window opens up and viola it's in your inventory. Even the Deadspace armor is on the dic. Really they should just include the bonus items in a patch or something.

yes my good sir never shows up in my entitlements here either wish i had a capture card or pvr or something so i could record it and show a video as evidence but i dont so i guess ill just try the demo agian

I'm sorry, but it seems that this item is no longer able to be obtained. According to the Dragon Age wiki:

Provided a connection to a BioWare Social Network account is established, completion of the Dragon Age II demo unlocks this special weapon for that account. According to the legal info on the demo page, it will no longer be available after May 31, 2011.

Note the section I've put in bold. Hayder's Razor expired on May 31st.

Bought Dragon age 2 signature edition. Fine.

Can't get my blood dragon armour and nice shiney stuff on dragon age 2... Not fine.

spoke to EA, cant do anything for me =( as my date of birth isn't what it should be (very odd), all my content is on this site, says it's active, says it's on my xbox gamer tag thingy, but alas, it isn't in the chest in the game.... ='( this makes me sad, as i spent lots of money and can't even use the stuff that i spent all that money for! >_<

Hmm...strange, the only problem I can think of is that maybe you were not connected to your Bioware profile when you completed the demo, perhaps you should double check that.
