How's the sword and shield work? They don't show up on my list of unlocked game content, though of course I've preordered the game. Also, the location to find one's license key if buying the game from EA store is not obvious, since no email includes it. You have to open the game info in the EADM to get the license key.

I'm getting the same issue with Fadeshear and the Lion of Orlais.  Pre-ordered, put in the promo code, but they don't appear in my list of items.

my ser isaac armor is only showing up for pc and the 360 on my game promotions page. Thats a bit of a problem since I got da2 for the ps3. Anybody else have this problem?

Sadly, the code only works with the PC/360 version. In order to get the item for PS3 you need to play Dead Space 2 on PS3 - note, play. You can just rent it cheap and as long as you log into the same EA accoutn you use for DA2 it'll add it.

It's great to see all the bonus content consolidated into one comprehensible list.

What's
not so great for me, as a fervent rogue-player, is that it seems that
there's 3 weapons for warriors (two greatswords, one longsword), 2
weapons for mages (Parthalan, Apostate's Courage) but nothing for
rogues.

Meep :/

The Adder of Antiva is a bow (Rogue Weapon). Also, I'd be willing to bet that whatever this mysterious Antivan Garotte is, it'll be a rogue dagger. Ring of Whispers is also basically a rogue accessory.

damn now i got a find a copy of dead space 2 for the ps3
thanks for the info

Another belt actually from the brief glimpse I got before the dev team noticed it was showing. Not suprising considering a Garotte is (from wikipedia) a ligature of chain, rope, scarf, wire or fishing line used to strangle someone. Or in this case a Crows belt.

I preordered before March 8th and got the signature edition, but I can't find a code to redeem those items. I did register the game using the key but not sure if that will unlock those items.

Can anyone assist in where the code should be for a PC Digitial version?

Thanks,

Is there any possibility that we can buy these items(like Ring of Whispers) as dlc payed by BioWare Points?

Thanks a bunch for this info Chris.

Thou is it just me or does anyone else feel like this clearly defined and detailed list of what promotion provides which item PLUS exactly what the said item does would have been that much more helpful a little earlier when we still had the option of deciding which items we prefer and, thus, which retailers to pre-order DAII from? Or did I miss that memo as well?

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the list, it very clearly sets out what one needed to do in order to get whatever item (note my use of past tense there). For example, I would have loved the Amulet of Ashes and, thus, would have known to go with Best Buy in pre-ordering (as in preferred it over The Irons, so would have known to go with Best Buy and not the EA Store).

*sigh* Am still totally bummed out that I didn't get my pre-order in place before the SE cut-off. Ah, Faretheewell Adder of Antiva, my FemHawke archer rogue hardly knew you. *very sad panda face* :crying:

Sorry for being so gloomy, just not fond of missing out on stuff; the perfectionist/completionist in me doesn't like it one bit. Ah, my Steam pre-ordered Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais will make fine additions to my Hawke, I have no doubt... or at the very least look very good on display in whatever abode my Hawke resides.

Hi Everyone

I have seen some confusion about where "X" item came from or how you get "Y", etc.

To help eveyone understand what in-game items are available and where they can be found, you can check out the Dragon Age II Bonus Items page. Yes, it even includes the item we give you just for registering your copy of DA2. :)

Oh wow, that's handy. Lookie! It even has stat info! Yay! Thanks! Posted Image

I can give the Fadeshear sword and The Lion of Orlais sheild to Aveline right? I have no interest in S/W Hawkes but they look really nice I'd like them to get used in game.
Aww man, the Amulet of Ashes looks sweet but I pre-ordered with Gamestop. Gay. Oh well. Posted Image

Any info on the DA Legends dlc yet? I didn't see it on that page. I could be blind though, lol.

DLC already. I am sure it will be a good game, but, to prove a point, I wish I could get my money back and buy later.

Ya know hun, that would be a totally swell idea (imo anyway), as I would love the opportunity of picking out whatever bonus items I have missed, putting them all in my spiffy shopping cart (or woven basket, whatever the case may be) and paying for them with my BioWare points. Wonderful idea, though... feasable? *super sad panda face trying to pull off super sad puppy eyes* (we SO need a smiley for that)

Just to let you guys at Bioware know, I'll pay GOOD MONEY to get a bonus item DLC package in the future with:

Amulet of Ashes
The Irons
Ring of Whispers

From what i read about legends. The facebook game isn't going live till about 12 hours AFTER DA2 does..... so it'll be at least a 12 hour wait to even find out how we can get those items unlocked.

I'm guessing they have contracts with the distributors for the use of those items. That said i doubt we would see any of those exclusive items as seperate DLC until those contracts expire.

even though i really want to see them as seperate items for dl as well.

Well at least you got the promo code for the sword and shield, a mate and myself also pre ordered but still do not have the promo code for them yet.

All of us that pre ordered before march the 8th should have:

For pre ordering:
The Black emporium
Fighting Marbari Warhound
Mirror of Transformation

Bonus items for pre ordering before MArch 8th.
with the sword and shiled as a bonus for ordering before March 8th.

I took a screen grab just in case I need it for proof.

Has anyone who has registered the game gotten the "Boots of the Frozen Wastes" item to show up yet? I'm not seeing it on my item list.

Edit: Nevermind, it finally showed up.

What I would like to know is if the DLC that comes with the signature edition will apply to all profiles on the PS3, or just the profile that registers the game. It would be nice to know since multiple people use my PS3, and that means someone will get screwed out of the DLC if it only applies to one profile. As it is, the Blood Dragon armor is only active under my register promos for DA2, but no one else who uses my PS3.

The more I think on it, the more bummed it makes me... but WHY all the love for the Warrior class??? Rogues and Mages get maybe 3 items between em. Everything else is only warrior specific geared toward all three... I want Awesome Daggers!

Demon Saber, I believe it's all tied to an individual and unique EA profile, i.e. your profile only, regardless of who else shares your machine. So if you redeem the promo code on your profile, other people would have to log in to the game using your information, your profile, to check out the DLC. That's how I understood it to work with all of these promotion and DLC items.

Has there been any information about the pre-order bonuses associated with EA or Best Buy? My understanding is that they're to e-mail the codes out, but I haven't heard anything about it since I placed by pre-order. Will I hear about it tomorrow...?

I was curious since when I bought Dragon Age: Origins, the DLC was available in all profiles. But after seeing that only I have access to the Blood Dragon Armor, and that some of the new DLC seems to require registering to your profile. Guess that means only I get to enjoy that DLC then.

Thanks for the info AloraKast.

You aren't the only one with the problem. Several of us have been mentioning this on the Staff of Parthalan board, but the Powers That Be have yet to offer up any type of solution or response.
