Cheers. I was just worried, because i'm hearing from mates across the pond are having trouble with it. I've just blitzed through Origins and it's expansions as a Mage, so i sold it and never brought it through to the other DLC's. They did the same.

Not that it matters entirely, because i'll be playing through DA2 as a Mage first anyways.

Codes:

One works for the actual game ON THE GAME (which is the Black Emporium), all others need to be put in ON THE PC/cpu. As far as the "special edition", if it contains other enterable codes on the 360, scratch my initial comment as i didnt get that version (blah)!

everything registers as "quests" as ive not gotten past the initial "1st stage" of the game after creating my character. Upon the game starting i had about 10 or 11 Premium Content quests to complete that automatically loaded on my screen. I assume that once i get out of the mountains, this will then either be available OR open up to me as quests to be completed to earn said items. I have my mabari by my side in my party so i think he just comes along for the ride (which if hes a seperate character meaning i dont have to "select" people to join my party like in DA orgins, that would be EXCELLENT!!!

Just make sure you imput the codes correctly, once you register your game, youll need to chk the game by resetting/re logging in and the items you earned should be available "lit up". Items in dark settings, supposedly are available in DA legends (facebook). Hopefully, they will be available as DLC, ive heard bad things about the FB game but we shall see (im going to try it again in the AM).

Ive got a PC code, im not utilizing it because i didnt order it on the PC obviously...i am PISSED that i didnt know or realize the "super super special edition" would have the DLC character available (which is NOT YET AVAILABLE, i bought my game @12:01 Eastern time i believe), id have just paid for it...EA/Bioware needs to be much more specific next time! All of this "buy from here and you get this".....total crap IMO! Anyway, as far as registering...enter ALL NUMBERS found on the upc on the back, i was getting very upset until i realized that was my deeerrrrr moment!

As a guess, I'd say this is likely to be down to their servers getting a ton of "unlock item X plz" traffic.  Some people have had other items show up after a delay.

on my steam account there are 3 product codes. the first and 3rd ones i entered without a problem. the 1st was just to register the game. the 3rd gave me the shield and weapon for pre order, but the 2nd one wont go in and i have no idea what its for. says 'entitlement key' next to it.

i cannot load my bonus item from the server... it keep said " DragonAge2 server temporary down please try again" issit the server down or something? i waited for 3 hour

But there are still glitches, I am currently stuck and haven't found any way to fix it.

I have no problem with companies doing bonuses and special limited editions etc as long as the content is available to everyone if they put there hand in their pocket.

Is that the case with DA2?

I remember never being so annoyed as with Arkham Asylum when they did retailer exclusive maps that you COULDN'T get elsewhere unless you brought the game from 3 different stores! That is really not on.

many of the items on the list in the OP dont show up in the extras menu and vice versa. ie - from the 'adder of antiva' to the 'seekers bulwark' are shown on the extas menu, while 'ivo family crest' to 'evras trophy belt' is unmentioned. also when i go to social.bioware.com/promos like the game says, nothing is mentioned about these things. any idea how/where to get these?

@ borcth - you should have a little page insert in the games box over the manual. dunno what system u have the game for, so ill post for the ps3 (as its the only one i know how to do). go to the ps store and go to the 'redeem code' section. its in the upper right of the screen. enter the code there and download the content. itll be available ingame when u start.

I agree with you 100%, but BioWare/EA also operate in this manner. There are still several promotional items from DA: Origins that remain unavailable as they were pre-order exclusives from certain retailers. DA2 is much the same. ME2 is the only game so far that has released all its promotional/collector's DLC as normal DLC, at least for the PS3.

thats not true because there are promo items such as the dr.pepper items you can not get

So, I have a couple of questions I haven't found answer to anywhere.

I pre-ordered the signature edition from EAstore before 11. January, and I've now installed it and waiting for the release check on the 10th.

The only code I've got is the license key, which I've used to register the game on this site, and the only registered game content that shows up is the Boots of the Frozen Wastes. Do I get the SE and preorder promo codes when game opens up the 10th, or should I have everything ready by now?

Also, the game in EA downloadmanager and on the site here only says Dragon Age II with no mention of any Signature Edition; is that how it's supposed to be or is it possible I've received the wrong game?

@ ytre - register ure game on this site, once u do that, go into your registered content page (hover over 'profile' and the click on registered content) once there find your platform and click 'more info' to the right of the items. once u do, theyll be automatically unlocked. u can gain more items by doing what the link in the OP says.

the black emporium/extra character dlc code came inside my physical copy so i cant help u there. id think itd be in an email but i didnt get it for the pc/mac.

just fyi - the items wont appear in your inventory. ull find them all in a box where ure staying once u get past the opening sequence. id put it plainly, but i dont want to spoil anything, though insignificant as the location may be to me.

I have 15 DLC items in my redeemed code list. FIFTEEN. Talk about promotional items. I really do enjoy having all of that gear sitting there, but I'm going to go through as a Mage the first time through...I'm going to have to sell that sweet Blood Dragon Armor and Ser Isaac's Armor for some money since my companions won't be able to wear them.

Here is my question. If you have all of this bonus DLC and then you uninstall your game for some reason (Crash, problems with install, computer format, etc.) then will that DLC be gone? Or does it stay on your computer as components that could not be uninstalled normally?

With some of the issues that people have been reporting, I don't want to install my game, have my DLC and then lose it if something happens that I have to uninstall the game!

I created a bioware EA account when I first bought DA:O, however I ended up forgetting the pass and the email that I used to create it. So, I made a second account when I bought Mass Effect 2. The thing is I recently figured out the pass/email to the first one and realized that my Blood Armor DLC is registered there! All my DA2 things are registered on the second account!

My best guess is that the armor won't be available to you in DA2 on account #2.

My variation on this story:  I created this account, then within two weeks after registering DA:O and ME2 I wanted to transition everything to a different screenname.  (Yes, poor planning on my part.)  I got essentially the same answer when I asked a year ago ("can't be done").  I'm quite sure that the real reason why it can't be done is policy and not technology.  What I don't understand is why there is *no* exception to the "can never change your screenname" rule.  It's not as though I'm trying to change my screenname to dump aggro...

I went ahead and created the new account, and that's where I'll register DA2 later today.  I'll then send a similar PM to Daemon Chris since I'd like to move *all* the entitlements over to that account, but at least the BDA DLC entitlement since it carries over.  OP, If you get any useful results, send me a PM please...

So you can have the Blood Dragon Armor in either Mass Effect 2 OR Dragon Age Origins? Because I have the Blood Dragon Armor in Mass Effect 2 and it isn't showing in my registered game content. Is there something wrong?

I'm on the PS3 by the way. The armor came with the game.
