I seemed to have fixed my freezing, though it wasn't pretty. This may help for people with low framerates as well.
I downloaded the beta 267.26 driver, which is only supposed to be meant for the GTX 560 Ti, and modified the .inf file to work with my 260M, and surprise, surprise, I am able to run the game on everything as high as I can go on DX10, except without SSAO, and it runs without freezing anymore at a stable framerate. Previously was running the 267.24 beta driver.
Your mileage may vary, but NVIDIA really shouldn't device lock their drivers.
Poor DX11 performance? (High Texture Pack Q's as well)

how much AA and AF are you running at? im running at 4xaa and 16xaf. once I set it to very high with these settings im getting 20-60 like you.
maybe because i'm playing at 5910x1080?
Holy cow...yeah, that would probably be it. LOL! That high of a resolution could be a killer.

I had terrible performance with the January release of nvidia drivers on dx11 settings, however once I installed the March 1st beta drivers my performance (I didn't check fps) is much, much smoother with EVERY setting maxed, minus vsync.

So I changed my resolution to 1920x1080 because I have no way of adjusting my HUD. I have:
DX11
High
8x AA
16x AF
SSAO ON
High Resolution Textures ON
Running between 50-60FPS! But annoyingly only 65% GPU utilization
Tried 1920x1080 on very high with EVERYTHING on. EVGA Precision says that i'm getting 40-45FPS but for some reason whenever I move everything seems to stutter like crazy!
Guess i'll just wait until they decide to patch and fix! And maybe include a HUD customizer for people with surround/eyefinity displays????

It's probably an Nvidia driver issue...

I checked the beta driver link on nVidia's site. The March beta driver lists "Improves compatability with Dragon Age II" it ints list of fixes/improvements. Nice catch, AG
