Such as the following explanations:
1) File was made, sent, but never implemented by the manufacturing company
2) File -was- implemented, but doesn't appear due to a bug
3) The issue is being "investigated" and a patch is being "aggressively" worked on (this conflicts with the 1st explanation, not the 2nd)
I doubt they will sticky this thread because of the controversy we all bring up. Nice summary Vaille and sig Shiro! One thing not mentioned, as was brought up early on in this thread, is number one above was said after anyone could cancel their online pre-order, they were in-process/delivery so impossible. Also stated any BW statements saying it was in the game thought it was and didn't know that it wasn't. So that cancels out Shiro's sig.
But then, there is Mike's interview, numbers 2 and 3 above, just recently that voids number 1. We are still not sure which is correct. What happens actually when Sony and MS evaluate/test a game or a patch or addition to a game prior to production? Is it good enough to catch an invisible feature? Or did they pass the game not knowing the AA feature was there to be even tested? (invisible bug).
I could say a few more things but really don't want to chance getting banned. Just say I am not happy with the way they are handling this and should have 1 person to address this issue so they are consistant with their comments. A friend told me years ago, Don't let anyone P down your back and tell you it's raining.
