From what I've been reading there is NO auto-attack option in Console DA2?

not even thinking of buying this game till that patch fixing autoattack (among other things) they said would be made is released.

Probably be in the bargain bin by then anyway. Hooray!

Hi Bioware ... any chance of a response. Have you made any headway here? Hey moderators, how about a sticky for one of the most viewed threads on the site?

We will NOT forget!

BTW I believe that all bugs need to be addressed as fast as humanly possible. The Friendship Bugs sound particularily horrible. I'm on the side of all gamers that want and expect better attention to detail and better QA for their games.

I'm really hoping hoping that sometime this upcoming week we get some kind of word from Bioware on this. What's wrong with you guys Bioware? Seriously, did you people just lose all respect for your fans? I've been buying your products for years and years and you just ignore every single post? Must be nice, being so awesome (BUTTON--->AWESOME)

Rogue is my preferred class and I'd like to be able to play a dual-wielding one without my thumb cramping up.

There is fail, and then there is refusing to even comment on the problem. If you work at a fast food place and bring me the wrong order, it's understandable. If you then obstinately refuse to so much as look at me or tell me if or when you intend to fix it, that's not.

There is no possible way to say that the game couldn't be patched yet. Many multiplatform titles have released patches within days of launch.

So I suppose my question is, dose Bioware have any intention to support on Dragon Age 2?

I remember when Red Dead Redemption first hit shelves and people were reporting problems. Didn't Rockstar have a patch ready by the end of the first week? I can't remember for sure, but I know it didn't take three weeks, that's for sure.

Bioware's failure to even respond is truly embarassing for them and for us.

Well they did respond, I'm not sure if you want them to respond on a daily basis, or at least more often than now; but gave us a reason why it wasn't in, as in a misstake from their side with the master ~ and that it would be patched, but that the console patches takes more time and so on.

They don't like saying things publicly because then they might *gasp* be actually held accountable for their words. It seems having to back up what you say is unacceptable for a corporation.

I sustained my pre-order of the game because Bioware said that there would be auto-attack for consoles in the final build after people EXPLICITLY asked why there wasn't auto-attack in the demo. Yet there is no auto-attack. If they had not lied to me, I would not have gotten the game until the patch restored auto-attack. By then, prices would be lower. Bioware scammed me out of this price differential.

They responded after people were shocked that the information Bioware gave 2 days prior was absolutely incorrect. That was pure damage control. They have said nothing since.

Actually, in many instances, they're just plain not allowed, legally, to say stuff publicly. That's especially true when it comes to making promises. If you notice, Priestly's post was very careful not to flat out declare "We will definitely be fixing this."   I.e., this is likely one of those instances.
