Let the patch come soon, as to stake and kill this thread once and for all.

The patch is on its way. No ****** behavior is going to speed up the certification process.

I'm certain all of these people are happy over the fact that you just bumped the thread, and for your thoughts on moderation.
Given that they claimed this feature was in DA2 I can understand why people are bumping this; besides bumpage suspension without warning makes me figure you for a rather horrible moderator given the rules of the forum, while I wouldn't mind if you were draconian.

You shouldn't need a warning to understand that it's inappropriate behavior. Actually contributing with some sort of discussion doesn't constitute as a "bump", however.

Bumping a thread is the equivalent of standing around and obnoxiously shouting "Hey! Hey! Pay attention to me!"

Well talking about moderation policy, or backseat moderation is normally against forum policy as well, and for good reason; and given the quality of my posts a bump post is normally of equivalent value.
Besides I've never had any issues with certan threads being bumped ~ & since the mods do lock spam threads, or threads they deem to have ran their course I'm certain they still feel that this thread haven't been worth locking yet, despite numerous of pages of bump posts.

It could actually get worse if he did; when you bump there is the issue of spam; but now its spam for a worthy cause, once the thread derives into offtopic debates about moderation I'd be vary.

Don't pre-order.
Don't buy Bioware games until at least 2 months have passed and patches/title updates have been released.
Don't pre-order.
Seriously do NOT pre-order.

It has taken way too long. Although there is a valuable lesson to be learned here so long as people can muster patience at Bioware's next release.

Yes, it was a neat lesson BioWare taught us; we should be thankful and praise them instead of all this show of hostility.
Seriously though, I wonder why its taking so much time; is this always the case with console patches? I often seem to get games patched rather quickly after the release date.

On the other hand if you are using your early adopters as beta testers, work on the patch will only progress after about a week.

I didn't really mean it like that. This isn't the kind of lesson you praise someone for. It's a bitter lesson to be sure. I don't think they deserve praise or thanks of any kind. I encourage them to support their product but they have done the damage already.
If everyone stopped pre-ordering and waited a few months to buy their games this "Release now patch later!" approach would die real fast.
That does NOT excuse the developers for pulling a bait and switch on us nor does it excuse the horribly long time it is taking to fix this issue.
Bioware is trying to create One Master Patch to Rule Them All so they can release a single Title Update for Xbox 360 and PS3 and then walk away from this mess.

The only thing we have to say that there is a patch being worked on is Bioware's say so.
We also had Bioware's say so that auto attack was -definatly- in the game, repeatlely confermed -after- the game had gone gold.
So, at this point? We are bumping the thread, and keeping up awareness that this thread is now 30 days old!
