I sympathise with you, it shouldn't be a stock issue as you ordered early which would guarantee you a copy. It could be due to the 3 digit security numbers like someone above said. This has got me worried about my pre-order as I placed the order around the same time (mid October) and even the fact that the card has been authorised I doubt I will be happy until the game has shipped

I think you're in the green zone if they've said your card has been authorised.
Still, I understand your worry.

I got the order being processed email today and checking my account the money has gone out so hoping il be fine. Game is a very large company so most people shouldnt worry chances are the majority of us should get the game by friday (possibly Thursday?) but keep us posted OP would like to know what reason they give for it as they shouldnt have any at all. If mine gets cancelled i know im definatly going to kick up a fuss

Not to be a downer, but that was the email I got an hour before they sent me another email telling me that there was a problem so... y'know. But fingers crossed it works out for you. Not everyone has had this issue so you'll probably be one of the lucky ones.

Had the same e-mail. So according to the games webpage and there tracking link it is in the process of being packaged ... so I didn't pre-order the SE edition.

Mine is current;y listed as HELD, and probably won't change til the morning now anyway, if they reject my pre-order, trading standards will be recieving a call.

Drakeling and .Faine, the very same thing happened to me as well. First off, at 4:55 PM I got the standard email from GAME telling me that my copy of DA2 Bioware SE is being processed and awaiting credit card authorization, and then at 5:05 PM I got the other mail which said that the card was rejected and that my order had been cancelled. I tried calling customer service but apparently all of their operators were busy, even after 10 minutes of waiting "on hold". I decided to send them an email about my problem and they asked me to send them my full name, address and postcode. By the time I sent them that information it was already 6:00 PM so I'm guessing they will try to help me out tomorrow. After all of this, I don't care if it doesn't get sent to me by Friday, I just want my copy of the SE!

Same issue here, think I know what my problem is though...this might be the issue for others (though I'm sure no one else is as dumb as me...!).

I just moved house so I changed the delivery address but left the billing address because I didn't know if I would get to the bank in time to change that. If I recall correctly, they check the billing address and if it doesn't match the bank's records for your address then they won't authorise it...

I'm still gonna give GAME a call tomorrow just in case they decide to be uber customer service and honour my order...here's hoping!

I think I might have discovered an issue with my order.

On the GAME website, my card was listed under the wrong sub-type of it's type... if that makes sense? I don't know if this is my own personal goof up or if they've simply changed the way it is listed, because I specifically checked this last month when I had to update my payment details with a new card.

Anyway, I'm hoping it'll make a difference and that I'll still be able to get my Signature Edition. When I check the tracker, it's listed as 'held', so perhaps if the card issue is corrected, they'll still honour the order.

Aha! Just realised I never changed the billing address on my account with Game when I moved - I bet that's the problem. I've changed it now. *fingers crossed*

You scared me good there. Although Im not from UK, I usually order my games from GAME as I have nothing but good experience with them.

Game (and Gamestation - owned by same corperation) are pretty scrubby like that. I think they didn't order enough siggy editions and now they've been told to turn away pre-order customers. It's not the first time that's happened, I used to work for them, back room deals and immature squabbles with EA (like the Sims thing) too much BS and they let down their audience every time

but my order is not for the Signature Edition just the Dragon Age 2 (with PreOrder Bonus in-game Fadeshear & The Lion of Orlais)

Unfortunatly had the same problem as the OP and several others itt, couldn't get in touch with GAME customer service because i didn't get in til after 6, but  the kind gentelman at my banks customer service line informed me that there was apprently no problems with the payment and that GAME just had to take the money from my account,
my mass paranoia tells me this is GAME ducking out on my sig. edition pre-order but unfortuanlty wont find out till tommorow.

You folks ordering from Game will probably have it dispatched on Wednesday to get it for Thursday. (Or possibly Friday, but I normally get games a day early from Game/Shopto)

So, don't get your hopes up for it being dispatched today/getting it before then.
