I played about 3 hours today of the final release and the performance was improved a lot, didn't try anything other than DX11 though, but it was very apparent here.
We're talking 30%-50% performance increase on my setup.
Just letting you guys know if you had worries after playing the demo.
I thought the demo was amazing. Hearing this, I think the game is probably going to be sooper-dooper amazing!!

Well I run it on Very high with the H-Res texture patch and all the DX11 settings checked and I didn't see any performance wobbles concerning smoke.
How does the high res texture pack look compared to the demo? Have any before and after screenshots to share?

I'm having horrific DX11 experience. See my sig for specs.. If I run in 2560x1600 with no aa, no AS filtering, no boxes checked at very high detail, I get 5-10 fps
Dropping to 1920x1200 helps, but not a lot... dropping to high helps quite a bit, but if I check any boxes, performance goes to hell... If I go down to medium (dx9), I get well over 60fps.. and with my rig.. I should be getting 30-50fps with max settings and all boxes checked.

Awesome. Maybe people will stop judging too much the PC game by the demo~
You would think this would be a no-brainer/common sense kind of thing... but you would join me in being wrong.

I think he's trying to say that Flemeth is old and broken and Morrigan is the new hotness.

Not sure what you "should" be getting...Bioware's engines have always been harder to run than Crysis >_>

Crysis is the most badly optimized game in recent PC history
Crysis 2 on equal settings (medium and same resolution in both games) perform better than Crysis
