It seems that my game didn't recognize that i have had romance and "love" with Morrigan in origins. Morrigan acknowledged that my character had a baby with her, but the game only gives me "friend" lines, instead of "my love" ones. Hence i am unable to step through the mirror with her. I've read that many people encountered same issue, but haven't found a solution. Dlc is updated to 1.1

Did anyone else found fix for this? I've tried using console command "zz_str_debug", but it only allows to view plot flags, rather than to edit them. I've tried to use toolset, but its way too complicated for me. Theres a mod that allows editing epilogue choices, but it would require me to replay entire game with all of the addons again><

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have any mods installed already?  If so, I suggest you consider removing them and seeing if you can get the option back.  That may necessitate saving the character in Origins or Awakening w/o mods, and then re-importing them into Witch Hunt.

I'm very sorry for reviving a thread five months old, but I'm trying to find out what causes the lack of romance lines in the ending dialogue with Morrigan. My problem is exactly the same, but it is the first time to read about mods being at fault. Does this mean I just need to deinstall the mods then saving and import that save into Witch Hunt?
Any help is much appreciated, because I do not get the toolset quite working for me, either.

First, what mods are you running? Some might impact the romance flags, others would not. Second, are you running version 1.1 of WH? BioWare fixed an issue with romance flags not being recognized properly with 1.1.

Yup, it is patched correctly, up to v1.1. Just about yesterday I tried with a save without any mods by importing it directly, always on the lookout for that romance dialogue line in Flemeth's hut with that Dalish elf, but to no avail. Or is it that the romance flags cannot be resetted after having mods installed in the first place? Aagh, I wish I would know what I'm doing wrong. Always taking Morri with me to the archdemon battle it says 'love' on her approval bar. One cannot simply 'repair' a save, I wonder? Thank you for your reply to me ranting, by the way.

It is rather difficult to find stuff about this since there is no DR bug anymore but only her not acknowledging the romance.

1.1 should have fixed the issue if the flag is set right in the import file. There is a bug in the game that sets the plot-flags wrong based on whether you talk to her after the gate speech. If I remember correctly (it's been a while) if you talked to her you got the correct epilogue in Origins but not in Awakening and it didnt acknowledge it correctly in WH. The Morrigan Restoration Patch (linked on the first page of the community fixit thread at the top) fixes that issue and a flock of others with her romance.

Also, it is possible to view and change plot flags using the developers console. You can also seriously break your save, so always back up the file first. There are extensive directions on the Dragon Age wiki.
