So, as I have nothing else to do but wait for DA2 (which should arrive late morning tomorrow), I am prepping my PC for the game. Here's the rundown since I am bored and figured it might help someone:
- Updating all drivers including motherboard and the latest Nvidia BETA driver which is optimized for DA2
- Downloading all Windows 7 updates, including recently released Service Pack 1
- running CCleaner and another registry cleaner to clean up any leftover junk
- pre downloading the High Res texture pack so it is ready to install tomorrow
- Defragging my hard drive
- Playing GTA 4 afterwards, while I wait for "Mr. Postman"
