I just read the closing paragraph, sounds good. AND it's based on the 360 version so apparently button-mashing isn't a problem.

Lookin' good! I gotta say, hanging around these forums is starting to give me a complex. And dammit, I gotta wait till Tuesday night to play. Ugh.

Anyway, thanks for the update!

Yahtzee's funny, but he often ignores the things I find annoying and dwells on stuff I don't care about. So I watch him for entertainment.

Not that Greg Tito shares my precise opinions, either. I'm glad of the good press for the game, anyway.

IIRC Crenshaw's review for DA:O, he spent most of the review ****ing about it (as is usual for him) but then said "the thing is though, I'm twenty hours in and still want to know what happens next, so I guess it's good."

Same. I love how he just rips into games unapologetically.

 awesome review, some snippets

In fact, like Uncharted 2 nd Empire Strikes Back, Dragon Age II is the rare sequel that improves upon its already excellent predecessor

the kind of familiarity you only get after exploring a location until it feels like home. That's what Kirkwall will feel like after playing Dragon Age II.
[/i]

possibly the single greatest compliment to a RPG..

it's refreshing to experience such a personal story and become emotionally connected

like I confess.. DA:O  never interested me.. I couldn't even finish 1 single origin story.. yet for some reason DA2 has sparked a fire in me, a TRUE rpg-head to the point I am already playing DA:O right now waiting for DA2 (I've finished 3 origins already 3 to go)

but yeah.. i will be backplaying it

seriously.. to those who claim that DA2 is dumbed down or not an rpg.. or anything like that.. I don't think you all know what an rpg is and you are probably better off playing a shooter game somewhere

Wow, 5 out of 5 from the Escapist? That's pretty damn impressive, I must say (love his video reviews; they never fail to make me laugh 'til I cry). 'Tis a shame this one's just text; hope he puts up a video review soon. They're always made of so much awesome.

EDIT: Wait, never mind. Looks like he does have a video review up after all. YAY. *goes off to watch*

Of course, having thrashed the very idea of reviews on every ever so slightly negative review thread, I must now do so to this one:

Sucker's biased. Don't trust him.

I'm... I'm speechless. If Yahtzee likes this game... maybe there is still hope.

Yahtzee is like Top Gear for computer games. His reviews I like.

Other reviewers usually don't give me enough information about how they reached their scores for me to use them for anything.

Why? He could rant about re-runs of Law and Order and be just as entertaining. He doesn't actually review games.

edited: LOL who could have guess Sylvious likes Yahtzee, who in general hates everything with very few exceptions.
