1.  It’s important to identify which product is experiencing the problem.

  a. PC version

  b. Digital download through Steam

2.  System Details

  a. AMD Athlon 7750 / Dual-core / 2.70 GHZ / 4.00GB

  b. XFX nVidia GeForce 9400 GT / 512 MB / 8.17.12.5896

  c. Realtek High Definition Audio / 6.0.1.5789

  d. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

  e. DirectX 11

3.  Problem Details

  a.  My biotics are acting a little wonky.  Whenever I use Warp or Throw, the red targeting triangle switches off of the enemy and a few feet away from them, often missing them completely.  After the action has been completed the triangle returns to the targeted enemy.  And also whenever I or my teammates use Barrier, portions of their bodies appear to "disappear", only to return after the effects have worn off.

  b.  These problems occur only when I use these abilites, and every time I do.

  c.  These issues only seem to be caused by the action of activating the biotics.

  d.  For a while I wondered if the odd behavior associated with the biotics was normal and intended, but at least from my judgement, it appears that they are not.  If someone could provide videos of someone using these biotics in the PC version of Mass Effect it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I got this problem when i installed a new video card.

I solve it by reseting my global configurations inside the Nvidia Contral Painel

Our OP may be overstraining his elderly budget video card by running at too high of a resolution and thereby slowing it down too much.
