A little while after Witch Hunt came out, I realized 100% dodge 100% spell resistance set is pretty easy to get in Awakenings without an overly complex character build or specific class. All the items in this are in fact non-class specific. Of course, being the minmaxer that I am, I had to do a "perfect" Warden run with the best gear available to load into DA2, which I finished about two weeks after I finished Witch Hunt. I searched around a bit today, and not seeing this posted anywhere, decided to put this up on the forum.

Battledress of the Provocateur with 3 evasion runes gives +30% dodge.
Voice of Velvet gives +25% dodge
Cinch of Skill Maneuvering gives +15% dodge
Spellward gives +10% dodge
Cailan's Greaves give +20% dodge

Flat 100% dodge there with items that have no prereqs, bar the Battledress which has a prereq of 24 str(sorry mages, but with switching in some items that boost str, its pretty easy to put on)

Cinch of Skill Maneuvering gives 14% spell resistance
Spellward gives 30% spell resistance
Voice of Velvet with three grandmaster dweomar runes gives +30% resistance
Vigilance with 2 grandmaster dweomar runes and one master dweomar rune gives +28% resistance

There are a number of other item combinations that can achieve 100% spell resistance, but this is the one I happened to build. Posted Image

The downside to this build is that one has to have 24 str or switch on items that give str before equipping the battledress, not to mention the whole wielding swords things for a non-AW mage, and it also requires Leliana's Song, Return to Ostagar, and Witch Hunt. The upswing is that it requires no investment of talent points to achieve.

Hope its helpful to someone on these forums, and if everyone already knows how to do this, sorry for being a bother. Posted Image

A dwarf templar can get close to 100% spell resist in DA:O but that's about it.

you don't need to be a templar or a dwarf to reach 100% spell resist in DA:O

A dual weapon warrior can

Ancient Elven gloves- 4%
Cinch of Skillful Maneuvering - 10%
Spell Ward - 30%
Key to the City - 4%

3- Grandmaster Dweomer Runes in Starfang - 30%
(very difficult to get all 3, you need to steal from kolgrim and Calladrius in order to get them and then complete the Crows assasin quest line for the last one)
3- Master Dweomer Runes in Keening Blade - 24%
(easy to get these, Dagna, Genetivi reward you with these, and Wonders of thedas store in denerim has the third)

(any two 3 rune weapon will do)

now for dodge, in DA:O you can get to 50%

Cailan's Greaves - 20%
Evon the Greats Mail - 10%
Spell Ward- 10%
Cinch of Skillfull Manuevering - 10%

so 100% spell resist and 50% dodge without being a dwarf templar is possible

to expand on spell resist, any templar can easily get to 100%

Knight-Comander's Plate - 40%
Spellward- 30%
Key to the City - 4%
Ancient Elven gloves - 4%
Cinch of Skillfull maneuvering - 10%

with 88% from gear alone, getting to 100 with runes should be possible with any weapon setup as only 2 runes are then needed

Its ALOT simpler and easier to be a Dwarf Templar though.

Besides dwarves have the best racial stats for you true min/maxers

it IS a lot simpler to be a dwarf templar, but not impossible for others to do also like some have tried to say
