I think we could safely assume everyone loves the boots. I only wish my Hawke could wear such stylish footwear. Sure it wouldn't quite go with her armor, but she and Anders could be boot buddies.

I actually have some similar boots, but they are for girls. :( Not nearly as awesome as Anders' boots.
