I killed him outright too. That must be it. In my first playthrough he turned on me in Denerim and as I was still relatively new to RPGs (at 22...jeez get on with it girl) I had little faith I could be buddies with him and in my generally more successful second go I couldn't be bothered to deal with him. In retrospect I managed to friend all my companions really well AND further research indicates Zevran is hilarious, so I do regret it.

Anyway, Bioware must have been in such denial that anyone could be so heartless that they didn't tweak it, so zombie Zevran takes the helm!

I wouldn't like a zombie Anders though, that would just be upsetting. 

My Warden was willing to give him a chance and thought he could be useful. She wasn't interested in getting to know him very much, and from my perspective, I already had Leliana as my rogue, so I didn't need him.

And a zombie Anders would just be weird. And a little creepy.

All the blonde hairs look a bit red to me except that platinum one. I just assumed it was the BioWare 'mousey blonde' colour, like Alistair's was? Not that I'm not a fan of the ginge though.

For whatever reason that was reeeaally frustrating my boyfriend. I think it ruined his idea of aesthetics to have two men with practially the same hair in his party. 

And yes Anders is definitely strawberry blonde if not sort of honey ginger.

Hahaha I'm a 22 year old fantasy/rpg obsessed female too! It is sort of a requirement for my degree tho, so it's not unexpected among my friends. I'd gladly go for a beer if I ever end up in Brighton!

Everything will be fine.  My own friends don't understand how I can be so obsessed with the ME and DA franchises to the exclusion of almost anything else. (single player wise that is)

Haha as I was saying the other day my new favourite is the Kinky doctor story. I was also checking out all the other stories by the same author and they are increeedibly hot. Surprisingly, the one that I find too freaky to handle was the one involving a pregnant Hawke... yes tranquil sex and necrophillia and bada bada and YES doctor Anders can even use a speculum and still be incredibly attractive. But pregnant Hawke... I don't know it just freaked me out. Oo

Well, FOR SCIENCE, I looked through a bunch of Anders screenshots. I then sampled them in Photoshop. It seems like, depending on the lighting, he switches from being more ginger to being definitely blonde. When in his clinic, he often had more of an orangey tint, but other places, more yellow.

Since Varric calls him blondie and he was definitely blonde in Awakening, I'm just going to settle on strawberry blonde.

I live in South London/North Surrey. None of my friends understand either, they're all into RPG's, but table top and LARP mainly. I have no-one to talk to about my obsessive love of Anderss! *whinge*
I'm only an hour away, when I have some money we should totally meet up for beer!
