Decided to play DA;O again, and now I keep hearing the VA from DA2 everywhere....the prisoner in Ostregar? Anders. The random Templar warning people away in Lothering? Fenris.


It's rather distracting, if I'm correct.


On that point, is Zatherian (Elf Keeper from the Brescillian Forest)....Tuvak (The Vulcan from Star Trek Voyager, I hope I spelt his name correctly)

Uh, oh yeah. My question.

So I'm doing the Night Terrors quest and want to get the "Anders in the Fade" dialogue (and tell him it was a ruse). My question is, after I fight Justice, do I then have to fight Torpor, or can I "make the deal", do the Desire and Pride demons, and then betray Torpor at the end?

Or do I only get the one shot and have to fight him right after fighting Justice?

(I also wanted to add I love this quest because I get to spend some quality time with my favorite fade spirit turned demon in denial. *Drools*)

Yes you can make a deal with torpor and get attribute points, runes and some other stuff depending on teh options you chose. However.... if you are in a romance with Anders he will drop you like a hot potato if you do the deal and the romance is over and there's no way to bluff him if you do the deal.

Erm. That didn't answer my question. @.@

I'm asking if I can tell Torpor I'll make the deal, then betray him after dealing with the other demons, thus saving Fenyriel, but not gaining any attriubutes/talents/runes because I didn't actually make the deal, I just said I would.

ah right not sure about that one. It doesn't take long so maybe make a save before and try it out and see what happens.

Well, I found that yes, I can betray Torpor at the end.

I also found out that the "What was worth turning on me? Did you even know I would wake alive?" lines are not worth doing that ever again.

@Dreaming-in-shadow: I don't know if I'm going to be able to play Awakening again for quite some time, seriously, I feel sad just thinking about it I was doing the Dissent Quest last night and when Justice nearly kills the mage girl (despite having done this already through several playthroughs) it kind of just hit me at that point how sad it is for Justice too. I've always felt more sympathetic to Anders but actually thinking about what was happening in that scene, god it's so tragic for both of them Don't know if I can play Awakening and see them both in 'happier' times.

It amuses me that my own Warden is voiced by Gideon Emery... well, his voice set.

Also, Ser Bryant is man Hawke, which is amusing when you go back to speak with him in DAO after playing DA2. It must have been confusing in Lothering...
