Hey guys,

Chapter 4 of my story Hindsight is now up! In which there is a rather minaught game of Diamondback.... (NSFW/Mature themes)

If Pseudocognition is about - I totally wrote a scene in this chapter based on your amazing Cards at the Hanged Man picture, which I love.

I've seen a lot of hipsters. They grow beards ironically. Or something. And a lot of homeless guys, who grow beards with no irony whatsoever that I know of.

My older brother, father, husband, and a bunch of male friends all have beards. I don't think I know many guys that don't have at least perma-stubble. To me going a long time without seeing facial hair seems weird to me. Maybe that's why I prefer the way Anders looks over Fenris.

My husband and my mentor's husband both have goatees. My father-in-law has a trim beard and another friend has a full beard. Everyone else I know is clean shaven. At the turn of this century, it seemed like every male just about had a goatee where I lived.

My older brother, father, husband, and a bunch of male friends all have beards. I don't think I know many guys that don't have at least perma-stubble. To me going a long time without seeing facial hair seems weird to me. Maybe that's why I prefer the way Anders looks over Fenris.

Many of my friends can't really grow beards outside of a few hairs.

If I grew a beard, it'd probably just be the ugly-ass, scruffy neck beard of my dad and brother. No thanks.

I can't be the only one hoping that in DA3 at least one of the male LIs has dark hair and a beard of some kind. All these mostly-clean-shaven blondes are getting to me. Even a proper redhead would be a nice change!

And I know of no-one who has sexy stubble a la Anders. I am stuck in the middle of two extremes, this makes me sad.

Yes a smexy dark-eyed, darked-skinned lovely, lovely man. I was so happy about Isabela for that reason (among many others).

Nobody has a beard here, not even hippies. Hippies just have hair that's impossibly long. Even the guys.
And it's tattoos here, as well.
I live in THE weirdest area. I walked to the gas station to get some Hot Cheetos (I'm addicted to destroying my stomach lining) and this guy was hanging out by the door. He had VIOLENT hot pink hair that was tied back, and was wearing a COMPLETELY leather outfit, right down to knee-high leather boots. The combination of pink hair/REALLY light grey eyes was....a bit shocking. And his arms were completely covered in tattoos.
Part of me wanted to be friends.
Part of me wanted to go screaming in the other direction.

Either way I just waited until he left before I entered. You can never be too careful around here.

There's a guy I used to work with who had the perma stubble. He wasn't blonde tho. Really hot, too.

I was thinking about this last night actually. I suppose what I'd really like is a Dwarven lady who isn't like Sigrun (no offense to Sigrun, but dwarves always seem to be hardasses).

I don't even like beards, and the lack of bearded LI's (or for that matter ones that aren't blonde!) is getting to me. ALL of the male Dragon Age LI's have been some variation of blonde! (Sebastian doesn't count!)

I really prefer dark hair on guys. Anders proves that I will make exceptions, but it would be nice to have a guy with dark hair. Of course, in all the fantasy world, the guys I find hottest are Aragorn (dark hair and beard) and Sirius Black (dark hair). Watching LOTR again yesterday reminded me how very hot Aragorn was. Although, Eomer was blonde and he was pretty hot. He did at least have proper facial hair.

BW obviously has a thing with light haired guys. So far, 4 out of the 4 LIs have been that way (3 blond, 1 white) and if Cullen comes back as a LI, that's another one.

On the other hand, female LIs always have black hair, except for Lelianna.

I've had a crush on default male Hawke since the DA2 trailer came out. The black hair and the beard are basically why.

I am now wondering what kind of weird parallel universe you live in. Although my little sis did get suspended for having Gaga-esque pink hair aages ago. (Lady Gaga is blatantly copying my sister!)
You need to come to London m'love. Everyone here is some brand of crazy, therefore no-one is. It's brilliant! I don't know why I ever wanted to leave!

Edited to add: I have never liked anyone, male or female, who had blonde hair in real life. Then I romanced Alistair, Zevran and Anders in game, and I find them quite attractive. Will definitely make exceptions here!

Sans all the leather, that guy sounds like someone my sister would hang out with. Until her hair started falling out from too much dying, she had pink, blue, green, red, black, and pretty much any other color of hair. Sometimes it was in a mohawk, sometimes it was spiked, and other times it was just in a bob. Oh, and she and my brother in law are both tattoo artists, so people completely covered in tattoos is also normal to me.

I live in Michigan.
Sometimes I believe it's not even a part of the United States. Though gas is considerably cheaper.
But around here everyone is compensating for being broke. So they dye their hair nice bright colors and wear lots of tight form fitting things.
And tattoos and piercings are abound. I have a piercing myself...I couldn't resist.

I really want to. Seriously.

They're still there...only now they're a faded orange and near my tips. It refuses to go away.

See, this is my problem with having a male Hawke. I can make him have lovely dark hair and facial hair. Then I just go running around the whole time thinking about how hot I look. With pretty lady Hawke I can go about my business and oggle Anders every time he comes onto the screen. With my man Hawke I just spend the entire time oggling him. Then it makes me want him to be a LI.

Thus why I end up with many more lady Hawkes. Okay, not the only reason, but it is hard to roleplay in any real sense while completely enrapture with the Hawteness. And I miss staring at Anders when I'm only staring at Hawke. D:

I think they're trying to subvert the classic fantasy image of tall, dark and handsome hero, and sexy blonde nymph heroine. Which, yes, fine, but two games is enough to get the point across. I shall be super sad if there's no female blonde or male brunette LI in DA3. Or dwarf LI.
I want a heartbreaking romance with a dwarf in the Legion of the Dead. At least I'd know up front that it would be doomed. <_<

Hell, I'm asexual, and even I think that Sebastian's celibacy thing is bollocks and illogical. An annoying, pious escort quest. When I first heard about him I was like: dark haired scottish archer, do want! Now? Ugh, I wish we had the option to shank him instead of Anders at the end. Waffling indeed. *sigh*

@Purpose: Do it quick, before the immigration laws change!
Ah hair dye, the best way to cheer yourself up, until the roots show through. <_<
