He actually says that? That's awesome. In my playthrough Carver was alive, so they kidnapped him.

(Also, my first thought was "Oh, someone finally worked out that you shouldn't ****** off the healer. About time." It always amazes me how various people are totally willing to rush in and attack you and your party despite most of them having gained some kind of notoriety after Act II. Guys, these people saved you from the Qunari all on their lonesomes, do you really want a fireball to the face from my Hawke - oh, I guess you do.)

I didn't get why Orsino had to go and do that.
Hawke can slaughter an entire city if need be, why couldn't you trust her and her sidekicks? Hmmm? Hmmm?

Oh man, I'm imagining the scenario where my Amell learns that Anders has fled. I can see the Wardens thinking she'll side with them, only to have my stringy, stone faced mage puff up in arcane warrior indignation when she learns that they sicced a templar on him and forced him to give away Ser Pounce a Lot.

And there, in a corner, will stand King Alistair, looking vaguely amused and not at all helpful to his former brethren.

I can totally imagine that. You want him to get in her way? Ah - no, don't think so - incidentally, just heard of a grave political situation that needs taking care of, bye. Do send word when she's done with you, hmm? That should be in about a week or so.

Haha, well, in my personal DA verse, he'd just stand there and support her, since King Alistair seems to be so pro-mage.

Wardens: But- but-
Amell: Are you questioning my judgement? By the Fade, man, Anders fought the Architect with me. Had he not proven his loyalty?
Wardens: But the chantry-
Amell: Until the Revered Mother takes the oath and the ceremony and brings her sword to the darkspawn, what does she have to do with a perfectly good Grey Warden?
Wardens: * look to Alistair *
Alistair: * innocently * I think they forgot to mention your friend's cat, dear.
Amell: ...Ser Pounce a Lot? What did you do with Ser Pounce a Lot?
Alistair: popcorn.gif

LOL, that's exactly how it'd go down.  Alistair definitely knows when to step back and let the Warden have her way.

In my playthroughs, I alone beat the Qunari.  By my lonesome.  Fighting mano-a-mano with Arishok.
Is it WISE to get your attack on?  Really?

Same. I was all "Hey, this First Enchanter guy is pretty cool." Then he turned into the Harvester and I had to fight him, which just made me go D: WHY ORSINO WHY, WE'RE WINNING. AND YOU COULD HAVE HELPED US INSTEAD OF MAKING US FIGHT YOU.

Dear Anders,

I am writing to you to apologise about the incident with the Templar. That was very out of line, even though you and Justice were getting too close-

(the rest of the letter is smudged beyond recognition, but you think you see the ink-stained silhouette of the new Warden Commander's face where Amell may have slammed his head on it for being a ******.)

Regretfully,
Warden-Commander Fallguy

I liked Orsino. He seemed...nice. Ineffective, but nice. Quite suave too.

I never trusted him but felt vindicated when he owned up to knowing about Quentin, plus the whole last resort thing - giving into a demon through fear and desperation is one thing but that did nothing but prove the Templars right. Once I met him I instantly remembered the note from Quentin's lair and put the pieces together in my head, so was glad to see it come up in the final battle with him.

To me it's twice as amusing because I imagine my Amell to be short (like, half a head taller than an elf short), rather weedy looking, and generally looking more grumpy than threatening- until she hears until the cutest kitten in the world has been taken away from a good friend. Then we see the true Hero who stood against the Blight- and she's not looking very happy with you at the moment.

I was literally thinking "Wasn't there a Harvester in the game trailer?  I guess maybe they cut that part out--- ohhhhhhh, crap" right before he started turning.  XD

HAHAHAHA! Although Rheia is very loyal to her friends and what not, I'm not gonna lie and say she didn't -think- of certain things with Anders despite being Alistairs mistress.:innocent:

Funny though, since I'm a furiously loyal lover in real life...however, these characters in games...I'm glad I played a different character when Anders became romanceable...

Well, Alistair sacrificed himself at the end for my warden, so she's free and clear i guess. Though when thinking about a sequel with her i did wonder if she'd be able to move on and have a romance with someone else or if she'd remain heartbroken over Alistair.

I imagine my Warden standing over the new Warden-Commander watching him write every. last. word.

W-C FALLGUY: [writing] Dear Anders, I am writing to you with regards to -
SURANA: [sweetly] To apologize to you.
W-C FALLGUY: But -
SURANA: [lightning arcing between fingertips] You are apologizing to my friend.
W-C FALLGUY: ...yes, ma'am.

(There may or may not be a hastily blotted out 'Maker preserve me from insane mages' on that letter.)

Warden: * pokes not so subtly with Spellfury *
Fallguy: * crosses line out * We are very sorry-
Warden: * assumes Fade Shroud *
Fallguy: Oh Maker oh Maker * writing * we will return the esteemed Ser Pounce a Lot as soon as we have time! I promise! I swear!

And then the Warden makes the Fallguy stand in a corner for being a very bad boy.

I think he only mentions the details concerning his more nefarious deeds with Quentin in the Templar ending. ;A; He fleetingly mentions having known about the research otherwise?

Edit: I am so glad I am not drinking anything right now because I'm giggling at every turn; this is totally what my Cousland would be doing to W-C Fallguy except with daggers. Enchanted, poisoned daggers. MYSTERY DAGGERS OF THREATENING +9.

*giggles*

Evrae Mahariel: I was going to have the new commander write an apology, but it turns out you can't write very well with broken fingers, and given he chased my best healer from the keep...well, I guess we have to leave it to more conventional methods and pray the bones don't set crooked. Ev takes the line you don't cross... and sprints over it.
