New song for JAnders.

The Beast in Me. Gentleness of it makes me happy. It's almost tender. Cash has a version as well, but the higher, sweeter voice of this one makes it more a JAanders song to me.

Ok guys, it's 3am here. I'm going to go to sleep and dream of little dancing gnomes with penises for heads. Thanks Chicken, it's been a great night.<3

Nooo I got here too late to profess my love for you. :crying:

Grave of the Fireflies is the movie I put on when I want to spend an hour crying wildly and then hours being an even sadder sack than I usually am. I like the torment as well.

I guess I'm used to other BW games, that fill in time gaps with what THEY want you to do.
All this empty space makes me dizzy. :pinched:

Eh.  It's a matter of personal preference!  We all like different things.  The time skip don't work as well for you and I do agree with some of the earlier comments about some of the minutae being a bit jarring.  I'm okay with the time skips, for the most part, but then again, I'm really easy to please...actually, I'm probably a little too easy...;)

EDIT: Grammar fail....T_T

pages back sorry just catching up...

The time skips didn't bother me, but the thing I found that broke them were things like in act 2 three years after the deep roads if you clicked on your party they'd say things like "sorry about Bethany/Carver" and the same with your mother in Act 3. My Hawke was like - "dude that was three years ago and you're saying that now?"

Those are super neato, but I'll have to stick with the regular colours. I get lost on the battlefield if I change things around too much.

<is totally lame>

EDIT: Though I can't help but stare at the Merrill white one. So lovely.

Clearly not having done enough research, I made the mistake of watching that one with my kids.  My youngest sobbed on my lap for two hours (but wouldn't let me shut it off in case there was a happy ending) and we are forbidden from having the movie in our house and it's my fault.  Someday, the therapy bills will start coming in the mail.

Otherwise, we're huge Studio Ghibli fans around here, too.  I think we end up watching Princess Mononoke the most.

I love how it was shown in theatres alongside Totoro. Talk about mood whiplash.

I have no idea how they managed to market it as a children's film.

Considering where you are, I should hope so.  And I agree.  :)

(Long time thread stalker jumping into the fray.)

So wait they can handle Princess Mononoke
but not Grave of the fireflies. I'm a flow blown adult and I still
cringe 20 times during that movie. Don't feel to bad about
psychologically scarring kids with so called kids movies (I'm looking at
you Bambi and Old Yeller ;_;) this just means your doing it right.

It definitely would have ended with me having less clothes on.
