@all: The only way I can fanwank this is

1. They didn't know they were hunting Anders by name.
2. Cullen knows in Act I after they help him, but because they were helpful and destroyed the abomination rather than helping it, he doesn't turn them over.
3. Meredith only sees right then, before she kills the Saarebas, that you're using magic to fight the Qunari
4. Meredith then gives you leeway after she sees the writing on the wall and makes you Champion.

I can live with that

Dragon Age 2 shares a lot of narrative elements with a

which is a particular point of interest to me (and one I can't shut up
about, evidently). There are a lot of parallels to be found in the
backlash, especially. It'll be interesting to see how opinions of the
game change as more people spend time to actually think about it.

I got put off Metal Gear because someone I used to know would not shut up about the slash potential. I like slash, but geez. <_<

Anyway, my point was I have no frame of reference here, so I'll have to take your word for it. But I too am interested to see what happens months, or even years down the line with Dragon Age 2.

That's totally healthy. Blood mages do it multiple times a day.

I did that asap after I decided to try the spec out.
And had to stop in front of about 4 other random templars I came across along the way.

Cullen looks so chill with it all.
