My duel would have been more like...
Varric: Hawke screamed, 'Maker dammit Anders- heal meeeeee! I don't care if this is a duel. Why don't you love me anymore?! Why are you just watching while he impales me?!' And then she continued to sob while hacking blindly at the Arishok.

Varric: And after Hawke died, a strange message appeared that said something about "Turning down the combat difficulty", and a very distant voice dripping sarcasm said; "Thanks, but I can't turn it down any lower than Casual."![]()

Varric: 'It's just a flesh wound, you'll be fine!' Anders yelled encouragingly, as the Arishok attempted to lever his big ass sword from the pillar and Hawke slid further towards the hilt.
'Next time don't let him catch you!' called Aveline as Hawke, screaming in agony, was flung from the freed sword to the floor.

I followed the linkies to Ch 4 of Hindsight. Ooooh my. Now I need to steal Alistair's bucket. The one he dunks his head in when he's feeling... distracted. Lonely Anders is lonely. Who knew that could be so... distracting?
@mandamcmoo: Are you on DeviantArt too? I can't find you there.
