This has been my experience with him, in Awakening and in DA2. I call it The Morrigan Effect because she was always spotless in Origins even when I would try to get her covered in blood.

Then I decided to turn off persistent gore, for screenshot purposes so we all look fresh and clean, even though I know everyone is smelly because there are no bathtubs in Kirkwall! (For all people gripe about Fereldans being barbaric, they seemed pre-occupied with cleanliness.)

Tongue bath makes me think of Emile de Launcet's offer to bathe Hawke with his tongue. Which, in turn, makes me think of Merrill questioning his ability to carry through effectively becausse his tongue wouldn't be rough enough. If only I could remember the actual quote...

Taking the Maker's/Andraste's name in vain? Check.
"Blight it all", "Blight take you", Blight related things. Check.
References to the Void, "Void take you". Check.
General British terms, "sod", "bloody", etc (if Ferelden). Check.

What would people use in exchange for hell? Void I imagine, but that just sounds odd in some places.

"Oh hell." -> "Oh void." Yeah... not so much. It's stranger if just using the word itself as a curse.

Suggestions? @.@

It's not so much the blood I'm concerned about, it's... the rest of what Darktown's apparently full of.

Yeah, I seem to recall... Varric, maybe? using the phrase "Bloody flames!" at one or more points in the game and it came across as a kind of  "Oh hell!", holy crap kind of curse phrase.

Also true.

"Blood and damnation", "Blast and damnation". Many things involing fire.

Hmmm, I could be creative... or I could sticj with what I know seeing as how Hawke is Ferelden. I love angry, British curses. :3
