Completely jumping off topic (of Anders' many abilities involving his tongue), but I have a random question.
Curses in Thedas.
Taking the Maker's/Andraste's name in vain? Check.
"Blight it all", "Blight take you", Blight related things. Check.
References to the Void, "Void take you". Check.
General British terms, "sod", "bloody", etc (if Ferelden). Check.
What would people use in exchange for hell? Void I imagine, but that just sounds odd in some places.
"Oh hell." -> "Oh void." Yeah... not so much. It's stranger if just using the word itself as a curse.
Suggestions? @.@
I noticed that they also say 'blood and spite' or 'flames' as curses.
Also true.
"Blood and damnation", "Blast and damnation". Many things involing fire.
Hmmm, I could be creative... or I could sticj with what I know seeing as how Hawke is Ferelden. I love angry, British curses. :3

I have a question.
Do you only get the Gloves/Gauntlets of the Champion if you defeat the Arishok in single combat?

Swearing is my second favorite thing after Anders' hands! And I've yet to come up with a good way to say "hell." I think "balls" might come in handy...I've become quite fond of saying "What the balls?" in every day life.

I'm fond of using "bullocks". It confuses other Americans.

Me, too.
I have the dirtiest mouth of all of my friends, it can be embarrassing in public places.

Is it an IT thing? If so, then that's my excuse.

The only thing I find that makes me think twice about touching him is the fact that he lives in Darktown. It has me wondering if he ever has a bath.
Since he runs a clinic, I assume he has some way to keep things sanitary. At the very least I would assume he keeps himself clean so he wouldn't infect the very patients he is trying to heal. Plus, after the relationship really starts he moves in with Hawke. I'm sure it would be easy enough to clean up there.
Besides that, though, my blood and sweat covered warrior Hawke really can't cringe at anyone else's cleanliness or lack there of. She always looks so grubby after a fight. She's entirely drenched in blood and Anders is sparkling clean.
My mage Hawke always ends up covered in blood. She tends to end up being everyone's target. I love it when I have a dialogue scene after a battle, she, Aveline and Isabela are all bloody and grubby while Anders is standing there completely spotless.
I don't think I've ever seen Anders with blood on him in cut scenes after a fight. Even Varric who stays at a distance as well usually gets some blood on him. Anders is sparkly clean every time. This just reinforces my idea that Anders keeps himself clean magically.

He gets bloody in my games, I'm pretty sure though I never thought of this little detail. Need to take a screeny next time he fancies swapping tasks with Aveline and rushes to the centre of the battle to show off his 1337 tanking skillz. I'll make sure to take the screeny when he's dead on the ground 10 seconds later.

It's too bad it's not that exciting. We don't even get a cute ship.
