I've lived with dogs all my life. I'm sitting here in my room with three dogs as I speak type but... I'll always be a cat person. Especially ginger tabbies. There's just something about kitties which make me feel all warm and fuzzy. 

I miss my cat. He kind of exploded.

I like to imagine Ser Pounce a Lot and Dog (because I fail at naming animals) actually getting along.

Admit it- Dog sleeping on his back with Pounce snoozing on his belly would be adorable.

Oh definitely.  Pounce would love to boss him around.  I imagine he would simply ride on Dog's back all around the estate.

*squints* I tend to interchange names for PCs and pets. So one playthrough has Jasper Hawke and Revi the Mabari... and the other has Revi Hawke and Jasper the Mabari.

I've had both a cat and a dog. Even though I loved my dog, she wasn't half as crazy and adorable as my cat was. When Anders is talking to dog in the hovel "ignore me and then when I'm not paying attention, sit on my head" < that was exactly what MY cat used to do lmao. I was a dog person until I got my first cat. I have a cat now who is a orange medium/long haired tabby with orangeish-gold eyes. My kids named him Milo (from the Milo and Otis movie...LOL) and he totally took to me. He sleeps at my feet and follows me around the house so my husband and my kids always refer to him as being my cat.  I will hear my husband constantly say your cat did this or your cat did that. He is a lazy for the most part but loves to play and sleeps beside my laptop when I play Dragon Age...lol.

I find it really difficult to pin how Varric feels about Anders. Certainly no-one but Bethany seems to be actually friends with the guy... possibly Varric but he's sort of like that with everyone. Fenris, Sebastian. They both dislike him. Merrill is harder to gauge but he obviously doesn't like her. Aveline seems to find him annoying and Isabela... well, who knows what Isabela sees in anyone beyond a butt to grab. Although as I've said, she did surprise me in her softer moments.

I don't, not if you romance him at least. He just took drastic mesures to ensure they would have a 'revolution'. And there is no peaceful revolution that anyone has heard of...at least large scaled one.

I'm not saying I think he's a villain. I'm just saying that if he ever returns it's much more likely it'll be as a villain than as a companion, because the chances of him returning as a companion are pretty much zero unfortunately.

At the moment we don't even know if DA3 will feature Hawke or not, but if it does and if  Anders was the LI I hope he shows up in the beginning at least.
