In relation to what we've been discussing, and gorgeous as the art is, seeing Anders as female does nothing for me. However, that icon of Fenris as female... my Hawkes would be all over that. Way more so than I am with him as a male.

it makes me smile! But yeah, i prefer anders as his skinny possessed male self.  [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie]

plus that beautiful nose of his would look odd on a woman. and the scruff! He can't be our raggedy doctor without the scrufff.

If it's sassy pirate fem!Anders, then this thread has done AWESOME things to you. :wizard:

I just got goosebumps from picturing sassy pirate fem!Anders.

Someone needs to make this happen! I would but I have no tablet and my drawing skills would be an INJUSTICE.

Yes. That is what I'm drawing... :?

I might have to post it tomorrow morning though (it's getting pretty late over here).

But it does include the earing (how I miss thee) and Ser-Pounce-a-lot.
Parrots? Who needs them! Real pirates have cats on their shoulders!

Whilst I'm catching up on fourteen hours worth of Andersy goodness, something from my WoW raid earlier. It was accidental (honest!) but two people started laughing at the same time I realised what I'd typed. Then we had to explain -.-

[21:44:57] [R] [85:Phyllera:3]: avoid the tail, plx
[21:45:03] [R] [85:Phyllera:3]: swiping is bad

It's true, the scruff and the nose kind of brings everything together :)

Noo, don't do that! What if people actually want to eat some cake?

...On second thought, I probably shouldn't have asked that question.

Well, yeah, I prefer Anders as he is but I won't say no to anyone being turned into a sassy pirate.

This thread, though, has proven I will endorse most any Anders transformation, be it Andersella, mermanders, or swanders. :P

I shall do my best to wait patiently.

ahahah, fighting against dragons uh? :D

It's actually sad, in years and years, it is stil hard for some people to get such simple concepts...don't stay in front of the dragon, avoid fire, avoid **** on the ground, stay away from the tail (hind legs, pretty please) xD Ah, sometimes I'm happy I quit, too much screams and facepalms...though, sometimes it was fun with the right people :)

Oh there's cake.. it's just in the shape of -you guessed it- a necroboner. But.. we lost it in the piles of all actual ones so.. eat at your own risk.

*flees*

Why is this still amusing? D:

Edit: Clearly, someone needs to make a necroboner avatar/image for this thread now.

Nothing.  Grey Wardens are infertile.

Ah, there it is.

I haven't been around enough.  I actually had to think about this.

*gets in the express elevator to the bottom.*

It's nice down here isn't it?  We have cake.

Well... okay... if you're that adamant about it.  I hope the cake is gentle.  It's my first time with pastry.  That whipped cream pie incident doesn't count, as I don't consider pie pastry.

Oooh, ninja'd!  Damn it!

Ahhh the bearded Isabela again. My heart melts.

I almost want to mod this into my game... almost. Would Isabela approve of that sort of modding? I don't want to do stuff to her face without permissions...

Only if both partners ARE wardens. One warden+ one non warden= not infertile. Word of Gaider said they might have some trouble compared to normal people, but they COULD indeed have children. It's two wardens that are infertile.

I would throw down over Arcade Gannon's annoyingess, absolutely.  It didnt help that I went into sneak habitually.  Mr Gannon was not long for this world after the 40th time he said, "O-kay, I'll do my best..."

Fair warning though, I fight dirty.

I guess...even though I've not been a willing participant in any same sex relationships, my view on sexuality is very similar to Anders'. That being said, I am literally the only woman I know (excluding lesbians) who prefers f/f to m/m. Part of it, I think, is my own comfort levels with women in general versus men, but I also genuinely enjoy strongly written/characterized females and it's still fairly rare to see that in a medium such as...anything that isn't targeting women who love strong women. I love that I can play them, and I love that I can woo them.

I prefer f/f pairings generally for the exact same reasons you just posted.  The m/m pairings I like tend to be because I think they work well together and not because I think they are sexually appealing.

While I prefer M/M, chemistry does make a huge difference.  The Cap'n Jack / Ianto pairing in Torchwood did nothing for me because it felt so fanservicy, while the Camille / Sharon couple from SGU really resonated with me, and I'm not much into F/F at all.

Related note, supposedly there was controversy about SGU because they had lesbian body swaps.  Why isn't there controversy over just body swaps?  I wouldn't want anyone running around in my body, having sex with people I don't even know!  Don't really care if my body is being used for straight or gay sex, you shouldn't be getting your freak on at all while wearing me!

That's the one thing I really don't like about Anders sexy time.  Justice doesn't want in on it, but isn't given a choice.  I suppose if they are mostly melded, it's more like part of Janders is opposed, but overall he's for it, which would be acceptable.
