That's all right. It took me half a year to get a joke once. I listened to the Reduced Shakespeare Company's radio show, and they said, "in my day, you used a contraceptive stone: you see, you put in your shoe, and it made you limp."

The joke being a play on "make to limp" as in, "force you to walk akwardly" and "make limp" as in "make unarroused". "You" gets used first as the predicate nomnitive (I think... ugh, I forgot grammar) in the first sense, then as ... maybe a direct object in the second?

But... yeah. A long time for that joke. My brother pointed it out to me. I just didn't think about it.
