I know this was discussed a bit many many pages back.. but I just read an interesting article over at Greywardens.com (the fan blog) that really gets into the whole Enigma of Kirkwall.

I knew from reading the codex that the veil is extremely thin there but I didn't realize that the city itself (as in the way the streets are mapped out) may have been planned as one big focus for magical energy - possibly even a set up for a massive spell.

It's an interesting read.

Oh and on a different topic, I was playing around in the bone pits and clicked on Anders. I finally got the line, "No wonder they call this the Dragon Age, the bloody things are everywhere."
It was perfect timing since we just killed the mature dragon (in act I)

Am I the only crazy person who enjoys both the Anders and Fenris threads? Even though switching back and forth between them too quickly gives me whiplash, much like the actual Anders and Fenris.

I wonder if he ever eats anyone again?

He speaks about losing control when fighting templars (at least I could've sworn he said something similar) I hope that doesn't mean he had templar snacks.

And I love both threads too. They both have their own charm (and special breed of insanity).

Mel and I, and possibly the chicken, are all guilty of this. I actually have two windows open. One with the anders thread, and one with the fenris thread. Shorts and a couple otehrs are having a very solid conversation, and I'm enjoying it, even if I'm not doing very well at contributing

I doubt it, or it would be in his talents somewhere as a reference. Theres healing, and vengeance (which I REFUSE to spec because it's way too blood magicky and thats OOC to me) but no munchies. Well, unless it only shows up when he's hit the lyrium bongwater too hard.

That conversation was the only reason I've been posting there again.  It's an interesting conversation, and no SQUEEJUICEPANTS involved.
