Heh, my husband and I are like that about LI as well, but for ME2 because he has no interest in Dragon Age. When discussing m!Shep's (which I dislike but it was his first time playing.) options on who to sleep with, he was just confused that I found Tali more appealing than Miranda or Jack. IT didn't get into an argument thankfully, but he definitely couldn't get why I liked the alien more in this matter.

Okay, I'm going to finally go to bed as I've finished writing and my proofreader is asleep so I have to wait for that until tomorrow... Goodnight thread! For realizes this time!<3

Well, I can't understand choosing Tali over Miranda either   Anyway,  It's heartwarming that you guys can play the same game, and later  discuss your LI's with boyfriend/husband.  
Hmm, I was wondering what average age around here would be.

I do actually have a lot of say in voice actors, but in this case it was out of our control. Shenanigans meant we could only have Greg Ellis for a smaller role-- so Cullen it was. Although I really liked Ellis and occasionally get a pang when talking to Cullen, I think overall I prefer Howden. But going back to Awakening briefly the other day I found myself running up to Constable Aiden and going 'see see that's  how you should sound, Anders." LOL confusing the hell out of the poor guy 

I was very similar, on my first play through whenever I spoke to Cullen I would get a pang (which is funny to me as  while I really liked Anders in Awakening, I wasn't emotionally attached to him at all, I was still all about Alistair at that point ) and then be like "Why don't you sound like him???" at Anders. Now, when I speak to Cullen I just don't hear that voice as being Anders anymore, it's just not him in my mind.

I do still love Greg Ellis's voice though (*swoon*), there's just something about it. I do hope that if Cullen comes back in DA3 (which I'm optimistic about) that he'll be an LI (which I'm also optimistically hopeful about, while cute in DAO, he got one heck of a makeover in DA2...). I think playing a character being romanced by his dulcet tones would be just... oh my.

Morning everyone

I need to vent quickly: Had the most horrible boyfriend conversation last night. He opened with"I really dont get why you like Anders" and continued with"he is annoying, a boring character, he's like late 30s (look at his hairline), annoying voice acting, lanky and awkward and just UGLY" And I was like D; "You are jealous aren't you?? :D" And then I said some nasty things about Merril just to see what happens and he totally went crazy defending her, it's totally a LI war now I get the feeling that Anders won't be reaching the gallows in his playthrough tho. And now I am sort of sad because I was hoping he'd like the character Also he downright refused to dress up as Anders and play the helpless mage and the new recruit with me.

Okay, time for coffee

Bwahaha. A good thing to wake up to. Although Anders' amazing dance skills are, well, amazing, I think the thing that makes me laugh the most is just the idea of Aveline being refered to as the po-po.

I've missed this Esmeranders - I've seen Meredanders, Mermanders, Swanders, Cinderalla-Anders (can't remember what that beautiful incarnation was officially named) but not Esmeranders (I can guess though that this is based on the Hunchback of Notre Dame?). I have bizarre mental images now

Same here.  So Esmeanders is a beautiful transvestite with a long, black, curly hair, who's hobby contains of dancing around in lovely gypsy dresses, while playing a tambourine?

I think if anyone didn't find it sexy before, this thread has a habit of developing new fetishes. But really, it's not much different than his old robes. Circle mages are all about prancing about in dresses.

Soon after the genius that is Andersella came to be, tarantella brought us more Disney crossover art; namely, Esmeranders. Then Yuki brought up a burning desire to see Esmeranders pole dancing. Thus the... staff dancing?
