Truthfully, Varric, Izzy and Anders are the only 3 companions that don't end up drivng me completely batty after extended periods of time. Well, and Bethany, but she hardly counts 'cause she's dead or gone.

Izzy, Varric and Anders are usually who I end up taking with me p: Sometimes I swap Izzy out for Aveline, if I'm in need of someone to bash things.

My male Hawkes started with Merrill, but the seem to be sliding down the Fenmance path p:
All my girls either go full on Anders, or have a fling with Izzy before going Anders. One or two have rivalmanced Fenris, but Fenris in rivalmance is scary as hell for me.

I have a set thing for romances:
Anders goes with either a witty male mage!Hawe, or a diplomatic female mage!Hawke.

Izzy goes with my witty blonde female rogue!Hawke

Fenris I romance with a male mage!Hawke, and rivalmance with a female mage!Hawke.

Merril goes with diplomatic male warrior!Hawke.

Varric can have any of them, at any time he wants.

And this is mostly Izzy and Hawke but it does have a bit of Anders and Fen too! I love Isabela, but that comic made me giggle.

I'm on my third playthrough and anticipate at least one to two more.

1. Green Warrior F!Hawke
2. Purple Rogue M!Hawke
3. Purple/Red Mage F!Hawke

All of them went for Anders, though my mage tried rivalmancing Fenris first.

I can't really think of anyone as Hermione either. I could see Aveline as Ginny a bit but then I suppose Donnic would have to be Harry.

As for who is most like Sirius, I don't think any of them are much like him, honestly. Anders does have the whole rebel thing going that Sirius had, though, and he's a scruffy wizard on the run from the law. Plus Sirius is not nearly as angry as Fenris is. <_<

If anything, I would think of Fenris as Harry. Especially later in the books, Harry had a broody thing down, for sure. Although, again that disrupts my desire to make Anders Sirius. Anyway, I only say Sirius=Anders because they're both my favorite.

Aveline- Molly Weasley
Donnic- Arthur
Flemeth- Voldemort
Meredith- Umbrage
Merrill- Luna

Not sure on some of the others though. I'm a bit keen on the idea of Isabela and Varric being Fred and George though.
